जहाँ गंगा बहती अविरल, जहाँ हिमालय का हो आँचल, जहाँ पड़ें हों राम कृष्ण के पावन पग, उस देश को मेरा सलाम। जहाँ नदियाँ बहती झरझर, जहाँ हर त्योहार मने घर घर, उस देश को मेरा सलाम। जहाँ हो कान्हा की नगरी, और राधा का हो प्यार, राम की हो भूमि, और सिया का विश्वास, उस देश को मेरा सलाम। जहाँ राखी की हो चेहक और बहनों का हो प्यार, सावन की हो महक, और बरखा की फुहार, उस देश को मेरा सलाम। जहाँ हो क़ुरान की आयतें, और नानक का हो गुणगान, उस देश को मेरा सलाम। जहाँ ना हिंदू, ना मुस्लिम, न हो सिख ईसाई, उस भारत माँ को मेरा सलाम, उस देश को मेरा सलाम, उस देश को मेरा सलम।
Transliteration:
Jahaan Ganga behti aviral, Jahaan Himalaya ka ho aanchal, Jahaan padein ho Ram Krishna ke paavan pag, Us desh ko mera salaam. Jahaan nadiyan behti jhar jhar, Jahaan har tyohar mane ghar ghar, Us desh ko mera salaam. Jahaan ho Kanha ki nagri, Aur Radha ka ho pyaar, Ram ki ho bhoomi aur Siya ka ho vishwas, Us desh ko mera salaam. Jahaan Rakhi ki ho chehak aur ho behno ka pyaar, Saavan ki ho mehak aur barkha ki fuhaar, Us desh ko mera salaam. Jahaan ho Quran ki aayatein, Aur Nanak ka ho gungaan, Us desh ko mera salaam. Jahaan na Hindu na Muslim, Na ho Sikh Isaai, Us Bharat Ma ko mera salaam. Us desh ko mera salaam, Us desh ko mera salaam.
English Translation:
Where the Ganges rhythmically flows, Where the Himalayas stand with all their might, Where the pious feet of Ram Krishna adorn the land, I salute that country. Where the mighty rivers cascade like a serenade, Where every festival is celebrated in each and every household, I salute that country. Where Kanha spent his childhood, And where Radha's love story bloomed, Where Lord Ram was born and where Siya promised to spend her life, I salute that country. Where Rakhi is celebrated with great pomp and show and where sisters shower all their love, Where we celebrate the season of Saavan and where the splendid showers moist the homely mud, I salute that country. Where we listen to the teachings of Quran, Where we witness the praises of Nanak, I salute that country. Where there's no Hindu and no Muslim, Neither a Sikh nor a Christian, I salute that Mother India, I salute that country, I salute that country.

During childhood, I had the thrust to reach teenage, but now I've understood that more than unfinished dreams and unfinished love, unfinished homework and broken toys were better.
