(AOC) [Love Triangle] Link and Zelda

Summary: Two blond elves think you're really neat.
Man, this one was REEALLY long-

* Zelda holds the title of princess, everyone in the kingdom loves her, and not to mention she has so much stress, having to train constantly to unlock her power that you almost feel responsible for taking care of her and making her happy.

* She also treats you very well, giving you anything and everything you could ever want.

* I also believe if Urbosa saw you kind of stuck in between the two Hylians, she'll help out Zelda in trying to persuade you to her side.

* It's not that she dislikes Link- also, if she had known about how obsessed the princess is with you, she would do her best to get you away from her- she simply believes that both you and her fit together more. Plus, she'll do anything to make her little bird happy.

* So, you'd think that Zelda is almost guaranteed to win you over, right?

* However, that's not to say Link is completely powerless.

* Being Zelda's personal bodyguard, she can't just tell Link to go away, especially with her father.

* Not to mention Mipha is in love with Link. She would do anything to see him happy. And so, although she would love to end up with him, she'll help him court you.

* Once again, it's not that she dislikes Zelda. After all, she, too, would do her best to keep you away from Link if she knew about how intense his feelings for you were. But she doesn't, and she wants him to be happy, so of course she'll help him.

* I feel like both of them would have the desire to kidnap you, but wouldn't go through with it.

* Zelda because although she knows she knows every nook and cranny of the castle and can roam around anywhere and everywhere she pleases, so can her father, and she knows he has the power to ensure the two of you will never see each other again should he stumble across you being trapped in the castle against your will.

* As for Link, it's pretty obvious. He would be trying to hide you from the Hylian Princess. Although no one would have reason to suspect him, Zelda would not stop until she found even the slightest bit of evidence that would trace him to your disappearance, and once she did, she would find you and definitely have him thrown in the dungeon for life if he was lucky, or executed if he wasn't.

* Not to mention they need each other to seal away Calamity Ganon.

* So, of course, they'll have to rely on good old courting.

* As I've said before, Zelda may seem to have the upper hand when it comes to this, given her ranking, circumstances, aid from Urbosa, and overall the way she treats you.

* However, Link does manage to find a few ways to isolate you from her.

* Zelda can't let her father know she is trying to court you during a time like this. If she does, he'll think of it like a distraction and separate the two of you.

* So whenever she's busy with anything- whether it be having a meeting with other higher ups, being called over by her father for whatever reason, or simply praying to one of the Goddess statues with the two of you standing to the side- Link will always find a way to pull you away elsewhere for some alone time.

* He'll prioritize your safety over Zelda's. Of course, he wouldn't let her get too hurt or die, knowing well he would take the blame and would receive a harsh punishment.

* But he's not above letting her get a bruise or two.

* Of course, Zelda will get him back for that. When she sees him struggling with a monster, instead of helping him out, she'll grab your hand and run off with you, leaving the knight in the dust and insisting he can handle himself. You, on the other hand, need to get to safety!

* Zelda will begin spreading rumors about Link, and people will start seeing him as an unworthy knight who doesn't even do his job right. I mean, princess Zelda has so many cuts and bruises!

* Well, it's only one or two bruises, but she covers that up by saying that those "weren't even the worst of them".

* Some rumors even say that he's the one giving her those injuries.

* When you hear about these rumors- because you will, trust me, Zelda will make sure of it- Link will do his best to convince you that none of these are true.

* You've seen him in battle. You've seen him trying to protect you and the princess (though, mostly you) with his life, and how he's fought tooth and nail to ensure your safety. If anything, it's Zelda that leaves him for dead! You wouldn't believe all this petty gossip over your beloved friend, would you?

* Eventually, Zelda will butt in and try to confirm all these rumors to you personally, trying to convince you that Link isn't what he seems.

* Link will, of course, try to defend himself and make Zelda seem like the bad person here for spreading all these rumors about him.

* They'll start becoming more aggressive, glaring at each other when they meet gazes, and insult, snap, and threaten each other when they're alone.

* Could they team up? Possibly.

* There are only two scenarios I could see them working together; if you found out about their obsession and tried to run off, or if you got seperated from them/severely hurt during the Calamity.

* For the first scenario, they would team up permanently. They would still argue often, but work quite effectively together. Zelda would hesitantly let Link kidnap you himself and hide you somewhere warm and cozy, so both of them can visit you.

* Zelda will be all over you. She'll be very physically affectionate with you, showering you in hugs, kisses, praises and gifts, using her money to improve your hiding place to your liking.

* Link will give you a bit more space. He'll do all sorts of things for you, like cleaning, cooking, you name it. He will, however, keep his arm around you whenever you two are both relaxing.

* Although both work well together, they're constantly competing with each other, wanting to be your favorite.

* They often argue with each other that they're not good enough for you.

* Link will say that she's being too over bearing to you, and Zelda will say that he doesn't show you enough love.

* If you show any signs of distress from their fighting, they'll drop everything to apologize and comfort you, opting to continue their argument later on when you can't hear them.

* Anyone who comes anywhere close to finding out about you mysteriously disappear before you can even call it a day.

* For the second scenario, with you being separated/hurt because of the Calamity, they would team up, but only temporarily.

* They'll stick by your side no matter what, and won't let anything or anyone else touch you.

* They'll actually work much better together in this scenario, completely throwing away the idea of competition in favor of making sure you're safe.

* However, once the Calamity is over and done with, their alliance goes out the window.

* In fact, they'll get worse. They no longer need each other to seal away Ganon, since the threat is now gone. So Zelda will be looking for any and all opportunities to lock up or possibly execute Link, while Link is looking for any opportunities to sneak you away from the castle and keep you for himself forever.

* Long story short, a love triangle between these two is hectic.
