Summary: The little bird becomes a mother hen.
I misread the request and got the roles reversed, but I had already finished this when I found out, my bad 😅. The correct request is on the next chapter.

* Awww, she would be such a caring mother.

* Since her mother wasn't around for most of her life, and her father was never really the affectionate type, she'll absolutely shower you in love.

* You'll be spoiled and doted on. She wants to to feel special and loved, and anything that could possibly ruin your happiness will be dealt with swiftly.

* She's so proud of everything you do and makes sure you know it. She'll praise you constantly, and encourages you all the time. Even if you aren't number one in anything, as long as you're trying your best, she'll never be disappointed.

* When it comes to people Zelda trusts to babysit you, Urbosa is at the top of her list for obvious reasons. She's also fine with leaving you with Mipha and Impa, as she knows Mipha will be nothing but gentle towards you (and you seem to enjoy play dates with her brother Sidon), and Impa will not only protect you, but keep you well entertained.

* As for the others, well... Purah and Robbie are very fun, and she's fine with them spending time with you while she supervises, but she feels uncomfortable leaving you alone with them for extended periods of time thanks to their not-so-safe experiments and daredevilish personalities.

* She wants to trust Daruk, she really does. He's kind and sweet and you absolutely adore him, but she questions his ability to handle you on his own, in fear of him accidentally causing you harm by underestimating his own strength or feeding you something a child really shouldn't be eating. And Revali... Look, she respects him as a warrior, and she doesn't mind you looking up to him, but she'd rather you not pick up on some of his more, uh... arrogant traits.

* She's more neutral towards Link. She doesn't mind him watching over you, especially since she knows he's capable enough to protect you, but he's never come across as the nurturing type to her, so he's not her favorite choice either.

* And she won't let her father babysit you. At all. Look, I'm sorry, she loves her father, but she doesn't completely trust him with you. She wants your childhood to be filled with fun and smiles, for you to not have to feel all the burdens of responsibility she had to feel.

* If the Yiga Clan is ever stupid enough to try to kidnap or harm you because of your royal blood, they should be prepared to feel the wrath of your overprotective mother.

* Her fingers will work swiftly with her Shieka Slate, making quick work of any soldiers surrounding you while making sure you're unscathed.

* I've said this before and I'll say it again; Zelda loves doing your hair. She loves playing dress-up with you, and adores having little tea parties.

* If you want to grow up to be a knight, she's obviously not going to be very pleased. She'll indulge you in your early years by allowing you to "spar" using wooden swords with Link or Impa (and by spar I mean them blocking and letting you swing your wooden sword randomly), but if you grow up wanting to start properly train, that's an issue.

* You're a member of royalty, darling, why even work at all? And if you simply must work, why not become a musician? Or a painter? Or literally anything where you don't have to risk your life?

* If you decide to try to become a knight despite her protests, she'll sabotage whatever trials you have to go through to get in. Maybe she'll tamper with your weapons, maybe she'll bribe the commanders, but either way, she refuses to let her dear child have such a dangerous occupation.

* The world is such a cruel place. Just stay in your mother's embrace and let her care for you.
