Alice POV:
I walked with my new dog, called Pug. I called him that because I had no idea how to call this little asshole. And because his dog kind is a pig it made me end up with Pug. My best friends still do not understand why I called him that. You see? I'm very simple. My friends still do not understand me and my simple imagination so to speak. Pug decided to walk in front his, tiny little balls wiggled right and left as he walked. He's funny, and very energetic. When a bigger dog, walks by Pug bravely began to bark. 'Big boy.' I laughed.
Pug went quiet when a loud car parks parallel. 'Oh no.' You whispered to Pug.
'Well Well.' A voice said. I saw Lando, one person I tried to avoid today. 'Hey.' I greeted him. Pug jumped against Lando's leg, pug seemed very excited to see him. 'He likes me more than you do.' Lando said. I rolled with my eyes, Pug likes everyone. Especially the ones who gave him extra treats every single time.
'Who says I don't like you?' I replied.
'You avoided me.' That was true I did avoid him multiple times, but that was because I was afraid he'd see me pretend to be different than who I actually am.

'With a reason!' I shouted.
'And that is?'

I bit on my lip and looked down at Pug. 'Because Pug. Took a shit in your garden.' It's.
'Wait what?' Lando said. As he picked Pug up. 'This thing's shit is as big as a-' Lando didn't finish his sentence.
'His balls?' I asked. He laughed. 'Yes. Yes.'
'Don't make fun of him. He's a good boy.' I protected.
'Of course He is.' Lando said and he put him down.

'Your father called.' Lando said. His voice sounded irritated, when my dad calls Lando it's always to ask him a favour.
'He still thinks you're too young to stay alone at home.'
'I'm 16 not 8!' I said angrily. 'You sure?' He asked. I sighed. 'So if you need me you just call me. You never know who wants to kidnap you.' Lando winked. 'Come on. Let's get you and your... dog with minor balls back to your father's house.' He said.
I kept quiet. And nodded. He makes fun. Of my dog again! I lifted Pug up carefully and sat down in the McLaren.
'Please don't drive fast.'I prayed. 'I would never.' He smirked.

I closed the door. And fastened my seatbelt. I held Pug on my lap. Lando petted him before he starting the engine.

———
I was relieved, he didn't speed. If he would, I would have screamed so loud that people will think he kidnapped me.. I do not like fast stuff. Except for rollercoasters but that was it. Lando finally dropped me and Pug off at my father's house. And I was happy we didn't crash into a tree or something.
I immediately loosened my seatbelt and Lando opened the door. 'Here you go.' He said.
I thanked him and put Pug on the ground. I followed his gaze, 'so. Alice... my sweet neighbour. I see you soon.' He said. 'You can also do your F1 driver stuff. And don't show up.' I suggested.
'No no, I promised him.' Lando held his hand onto his chest like he was pledging. This isn't the 14th century so it wasn't necessary to pledge to me.
'What? Because he pays you? Don't you make enough money already?' I replied.
'No. Not because of that.'
'Oh really because I can tell by the way you are staring at me I can see you're lying!' I snapped.
'What did he pay you? What does my father think that I'm some rabid teenager?' I asked, the last part was a question to myself. 'Relax, spitfire.' Lando chuckled.
'He doesn't trust you.' He added.

'I'm a trustworthy person. How can he not trust me?' I asked.

'Alice.' A voice said. 'Oh god.' I murmured. I followed Lando's gaze. And met my father's. 'So you know I'll be leaving. Tonight.' Father mumbled. He laid his hands on his back. 'Oh hello Lando.' He greeted.
'No, not that part. Only that I can't stay home alone.' I said calmly.

'Why did  you ask him to watch me? I mean. He's busy!'
Lando shook his head. And slapped me against the back of my head. 'Hey speak for yourself.' He said.
My father sighed. 'You've to understand I made this choice because I think is better for you.' My father explained.
I felt very impressed by his small talk. Is he kidding me?
'And maybe it's better if you not see Jeremy for a week.' My father added. I immediately attacked my father. 'WHAT what does Jeremy have to do with anything? He's my best friend.' I said.
'More.' Lando whispered. Oh I'd want to choke him so badly now.
I turned around. And gave him the death glare. 'You've anger issues, Alice! You're too busy with boys.' No I wasn't, Jeremy was a friend. I didn't even actually... like him. I used to believe he was gay.

I took a deep breath. 'We both know that isn't true.'
'Oh really?' My father said as he lifted his eyebrow.
