Sentiments Overflows.

Sid had got up and walked out of Mahi's house. It's been hours there is no contact of him. Mahi and Jay called him n number of times, but no reply. Jay called Adi and told him everything. Adi along with Arun are also searching for him. The sun has set. Sana is too scared and worried for him. They are waiting in Mahi's flat. Maa has called Arun and Arun lied to Maa that Sid had an emergency meeting and he will call as soon as it is over.
Jay: Kya kare Adi. Police complain kare??
Adi: Mai bhi yahi sooch raha tha.
Sana started crying. She wanted to get up and go search for him.
Mahi: Usko bahot bada shock laga hai. Pata nhi kaha gaya hai, kya kar raha hai...
     At that moment Adi's mobile ran. It was Sid. He showed the screen to all and indicated them to be silent. He picked the call.
Adi: Kaha hai tu??......Tu apna live location bhej Mai aa raha hu. Suna na tune?? Abhi bhej......Samjha??
Within minutes Adi got Sid's live location. They felt relived.
Adi: Yeh kahi lonavala ke aas paas ka hai. Mai nikalta hu.
Jay: Mai bhi chalta hu.
Sana: Adi vo thek to....
She burst into tears again.
Adi: Sana tension mat lo. Hum sab hai na??
Jay and Adi reached the location to find Sid sitting on stone near a deep valley. The sun has set and it was dark all around. They spotted him with great difficulty. His car was parked a few yards away from him. They walked to him. Sid looked up and gave them a smile. He was drunk. His eyes were red and face rugged. His clothes dirty, as if he had fallen many times. Adi went to him.
Adi: Chal uth.
     He brought his hand forward and Sid took it. Adi pulled him up and dusted his clothes.
Adi: Chabi kaha hai teri??
Sid: Chabi... Kaisi chabhi....
Adi: Gadi ki chabi Siddharth...
Sid: Pata... Pata nhi.
      Jay went to the car and found the keys their. He nodded to Adi.
Adi: Chal. Tu mere sath chal. Jay teri car le aayega.
Sid: Jay?? Oh Jay.... Mera bhai... My brother....
He stumbled into Jay's arms.
Sid: Bhai teri..... Shadi me kya.... Kya aaya.... Meri to life.... He change..... Change ho gayi.
Jay: Ha ha thek hai. Chal, chal ghar chalte hai.
Sid: Ghar... Ghar nhi.... Maa royegi... Ghar nhi.
Adi: Tu mere ghar chal raha hai. Ab chal.
Sid: Ha fir theek hai... Chal.
Sid had passed out by the time they reached Adi's place. Jay and Adi carried him to the flat and then to the bed. They both too slept on the sofa outside. Jay had informed Mahi about Sid being found. And both Sana and Mahi had signed in relief.
       Sid got up the next morning with a bad headache. He tried to get up from the bed and winced with pain. Jay and Adi came running as they heard his voice. Jay stood quiet. He knew only Adi can handle Sid at this emotional stage. Adi moved to him.
Sid: Bhai coffee pila de yaar. Sar ghum raha hai.
Jay went in the kitchen to prepare coffee.
Adi: Kahi ki bhi sasti le kar piyega to yahi hoga.
Sid: Adi coffee pilani hai to pila. Lecture nhi chahiye....
Adi: Lecture kya tujhe to ghuse padne chahiye Siddharth.
Sid: Dekh zyada dimag mat chat mera... Zoro Mera beta hai Adi. Mera beta. And I'm being told about him after five years. What are you expecting me to do??
Adi: To aise lafango ki tarah sasti daru pe kar raste pe pade rehna thek hai?? Vo to shukr maana media ne ya kisi ne tujhe pehchana nhi. Nahi to aaj headlines me hote aap mahashay.
Sid winced in pain again.
Adi: Jay coffee la raha hai. Pe, fresh ho aur bahar aa. Baat karte hai.
Jay and Adi were waiting in the Hall for Sid. He came and sat, avoiding their eyes.
Adi: Thek lag raha hai??
Sid nodded.
Adi: Ab aage kya??
Sid brushed his face with his hands.
Sid: Mujhe nhi pata yaar... I feel so.... I don't know how to describe it....
Jay: Siddharth, hame samajh aa raha hai, tu iss waqt kaise feel kar raha hai.
Sid: Mai jo feel kar raha hu na Jay, vo bhagwaan kare koi na feel kare. I feel so betrayed. So cheated.
He wiped his tears with the back of his hand. They were all silent for sometime.
Adi: Sid kuch na kuch to decide karna padega na?? Pehla sawal to yeh hai, ke kya tu vo bacche ko apnana chahta hai ya nhi??
Sid: Apnana?? Kya baat kar raha hai tu Adi?? Vo mera baccha hai. To na apnane ka sawal aaya hi kaha se hai. How can you even think like that??
Adi: Siddharth yeh hum iss liye puch rahe hai, ki fir Zoro ko bhi to yeh sach batana padega na??
Sid's body shivered. There was a lot of pain in his eyes.
Sid: Uss chote se bacche pe itni badi zyadti. Meri bacche pe itni badi zyadti.... Vo kaise samaj paayega yeh sab cheezo ko?? Kaise sambhal paayega?? Uss aurat ne mere aur mere bacche ke sath bahot galat kiya. Bahot galat.
Adi: Kya sirf galti uski hai??
Sid: Kya?? Kya matlab??
Adi: Kuch nhi chod.
Sid: Bol. Bol na?? Tu bolna kya chahta hai??
Adi: Dekh yaha ab mai kya bolna chahta hu vo lekar behas nhi karte hai. Pehle to agar tu Zoro ko apnana chahta hai, to tujhe Maa ko batana padega. Aur Sana ko, Zoro ko.
Sid: Jay tujhe pata hai, mera dimag ekdum sunn ho gaya hai. Ab Maa ko yeh sunkar pata nhi kaisi lage. It's going to be too shocking for her. Kya yeh Maa ki sath bhi zyadti nhi hue hai??
Jay: I know Bhai. Par jo situation aayi hai usse to face karna padega na?? Aur tu to kitna strong hua karta tha. Thodi himmat rakh, sab accha hi hoga.
Sid: Kahe ka strong Yaar. Usne mujhe na andar se tood diya hai Yaar. Kya bana daala hai mujhe....
He rubbed his face and hair and stood up.
Sid: Chalo lag jaao kaam pe. Aapki vo madam ne jo itna bada bhuchaal laya hai na mere life me, usse clear karne me jut jaao ab.
Adi and Sid left for Sid's home and Jay went to his. Adi and Jay had discussed that, it's time Zoro should be told too. Because now that Sid knows the truth, he is going to be impatient to claim Zoro as his.
Sid rang the bell and Maa opened it. She saw Sid's face and understood that something is wrong.
Maa: Kya hua hai?? Siddharth kaha tha tu kal se??
Sid came forward, hugged his Maa and started crying like a baby.
Maa: Tu ro kyu raha hai beta?? Adi kya hua hai isse??
Adi: Siddharth don't......Chal ander chal. Bait ke baat karte hai.
Sid wiped his tears with his sleeves and Maa led them in the hall. Sid collapsed on the sofa and brought his arm to shut his eyes. He then sat upright, drying his tears from his eyes again. Maa got worried and impatient now.
Maa: Koi mujhe batayega ke kya ho raha hai??
Adi: Vo Maa aap itna tension mat lo. Siddharth sambhaal khud ko. Maa pareshaan ho rahi hai.
Sid nodded his head. He then looked at Maa.
Sid: Maa.... Zoro mera beta hai.
Maa's face went blank first then white. She was dumbfounded.
Maa: Yeh... Yeh kya bol raha hai Siddharth??
Sid: Uss ne mujhse yeh baat chupai Maa. Mai nhi maaf karunga usse kabhi. Zoro mera beta hai Maa. Mera apna beta.
Maa brought her shivering hand to her mouth. She was having difficulty in speaking.
Maa: Hey bhagwaan. Yeh.... Sab.... Sana ne aise kyu chupaya??
Sid: Pata nhi.... Aur mujhe jaan na bhi nhi hai. Not interested. Not at all.
Adi: Siddharth yeh galat baat hai. Tu....
Sid: Adi tujhe uski tarafdaari karni hai to jaa yaha se.
Maa: Siddharth tu Adi se aise kyu baat kar raha hai beta..... Thoda aaraam se....
Adi: Koi baat nhi Maa. Iske kuch bhi bolne se mujhe koi farak nhi padta. Par ab thoda thanda hone ki koshish kar Siddharth. I know you are in lot of pain. Par ab yeh tere reaction se kuch nhi hone wala hai. Jo ho gaya, vo ho gaya hai. Ab aage kya karna hai vo sooch. Aaraam se, thande dimag se.
Maa: Par yeh aise achanak?? Mujhe to kuch samaj nhi aa raha hai.
Adi indicated Maa to come aside. Maa nodded.
Adi: Thek hai mai chalta hu. Tu thoda relax kar. Jab tera mann ho mujhe call kar. Mai aa jaaunga. Fir dekhte hai kaise kya karna hai. Aur jaise maine bola, soch.... But jo bhi soochega yeh yaad rakh kar soochna ki yeh sab me ek paach saal ka baccha involved hai. Tera baccha. Jo uski Maa se sabse zyada pyar karta hai....
Sid looked at Adi and knew he was right. He nodded his head and Adi stood to leave. Maa went behind Adi. Adi turned in the doorway.
Adi: Maa Aap Mahi se baat kar lo. Vo aapko bata degi.
Maa: Haa thek hai beta.... Par Zoro Siddharth ka beta?? Usse bahot bada sadma laga hai. Yeh kuch accha nhi hua Adi.
Adi: Ha Maa. Siddharth bahot tut gaya hai. Aur usko samaj nhi aa raha hai, ki vo iss cheez ko kaisi handle kare. Par Sana ki bhi galti nhi hai isme. Aap baat karlo Mahi se sab jaan jaaogi.
Maa: Thek hai karti hu mai.
     Maa came to the hall and found Sid not there. He had left to his room. Maa called Mahi.
Maa: Mahi, kaisi ho beta??
Mahi: Ha Aunty thek hu. Aap??
Maa: Mai bhi theek hu beta. Milna tha tumse. Kya mai tumhare ghar aa jaau??
Mahi: Ha ha. Please aaye na aunty. Bait kar baate karenge.
Maa: Thek hai aati hu.
   She disconnected the call. She had seen the child in the mall and had instantly connected with him. She thought. She had felt Zoro so similar to Sid in his expression and actions. She had noticed it when he had come home. Her grandson. That lovely child is her grandson. She felt so proud. But her son was in so much pain. He is hurt and he has the right to be. Lost in thoughts she didn't realise Sid has come in the hall.
Sid: Maa aap thek ho??
    Maa came back with a start and looked up. Sid was looking with concern in his eyes and so she gave him a reassuring smile.
Maa: Mai theek hu beta. Aa bait??
     Sid sat next to Maa and Maa stroke his back. Tears started streaming from his eyes.
Sid: Maa aap hamesha kehti the na tera beta hoga to aisa hoga, vaisa hoga...... Teri jaisi harkate karega.....Aap hamesha yehi bolti the na ki jab tujhe beta hoga aur vo tujhe pareshaan karenge tab Tu samajh paayega?? Lo Maa mujhe beta hai. Mujhe pichle panch saal se beta hai. Aur mujhe bataya he nhi gaya. Yeh kaisa insaaf hai batao na Maa. Usko maine hath pakad ke chalaya bhi nhi, Na usse bada hote hue dikh paya. Hum dono ne sath me bacche ke sapne dekhe the. Mujhe na hamesha se apni bacche ko godi me lekar sulana ka armaan tha. Yeh sab mujhe cheen liya gaya. Mujhe samaj nhi aa raha hai ke mai kya karu. Khush ho jaao, gussa dikhau, Hasu, rolu, kya karu?? Mai kya karu Maa....
     He started crying like a baby and Maa took him in her arms. Maa too started crying seeing her son so much in pain. Sid composed himself, fearing Maa may get sick, with all this stress. He wiped his tears and smiled at her.
Sid: Zoro... Mera beta, Aapka pota.
    Maa too gave a broad smile between her tears. Sid wiped his Maa's tears.
Sid: Ab kya karna chahiye mujhe Maa??
Maa: Dekh Siddharth, vo mai tujhe nhi bataungi. Tujhe soochna hai. Aur mai jaanti hu, Tu jo bhi soochega vo accha he soochega. Ab jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Jaise Adi ne kaha thande dimag se sooch. Aur Mai to hu he tere sath.
Sid: Hmmm
Maa: Siddharth, mujhe thode time ke liye kahi jaana hai. Par tu...
Sid: Maa mai theek hu aap jaao.
Maa: Mai jaldi aa jaaungi.
Sid: Thek hai.
     Sana was sitting with Zoro in her arms. The past twenty four hours had been hell for her. Though Mahi understood her plight, but she too was helpless. Mahi has not let Sana go to her home. She was adamant that Sana stay with her until this matter is resolved. They all were waiting for Sid's decision. All knew he will not abandon his baby, but were still waiting for him to speak. Adi too had called and told Sana to stay calm. He was confident that Sid will make a right decision. The door bell rang and Zoro looked up at his mom.
Zoro: Mama kya mai dikhu kon aaya hai??
Sana: Thek hai jaao.
     Zoro jumped and ran out unaware of what is going on around him. He came within a minute with a broad smile on his face.
Zoro: Mama dadima aaye hai.
Sana shivered. Maa is here?? What should she do?? Should she go out to meet her?? Or should she wait. She decided to wait. It's been half an hour since Maa had come. She was getting anxious now, and Mahi came in the guest room.
Mahi: Sana chal aunty se mil le.
Sana: Di mai kaise face karungi unko?? Mujhe bahot darr lag raha hai.
Mahi: Are tu fikar mat kar. Tu aunty ko jaanti nhi hai. Vo bahot samajhdaar and suljhe hue lady hai. Maine unhe sab bataya hai. Vo samaj gayi teri majburi. Chal ab.
    Maa was sitting on the sofa lost in thoughts when Sana entered. She looked up when Sana came closer to where she was sitting. Maa got up and spread her arms. Sana rushed to her and Maa took her in her embrace, hugging her tightly. Sana sobbed on Maa's shoulder.
Sana: I'm sorry Maa. I'm sorry. Par mai bahot majboor the. Kya karu??
Maa: Mai samajti hu beta. Ab jab Mahi ne bataya to Mai tujhe aur teri majburi samaj rahi hu. Aa bait. Chal bait mere paas.
    Sana sat near Maa, holding her hand tightly, as if she needed that energy and positivity from Maa.
Sana: Aap mujhse naaraz nhi hai na??
Maa: Nahi bilkul nhi.
Sana: Par vo...bahot hai.
Maa: Haa hai. Par waqt ke sath sab theek ho jaayega.
Sana: Maa mai aapke bete se bahot pyar karti hu.
Maa: Mai jaanti hu beta. Aur vo bewakuf tujhse. Par abhi, iss waqt gusse ne uske aakhon ke samne ka sab kuch dundla kiya hua hai. Par jab kuch gussa kam hoga to usse bhi pyar nazar aayega. Samajhi??
Sana: Hmmm
Maa: Beta tujhse ek baat kehne hai.
Sana: Ha bolo na Maa.
Maa: Tum dono ko jo bhi karna hai na apne bacche ko dhyan me rakh kar karna hai. Koi bhi gussa, koi bhi kadvahat, ka Zoro par asar na pade.
Sana: Thek hai Maa.
Maa: Mai chalti hu, aur agar koi bhi pareshaani lage, ya koi bhi zarurat ho to mujhe call karna. Thek hai??
    Sana nodded.
Maa: Sana thoda Zoro ko bula degi. Mai apne pote se milna chahti hu.
Sana: Ha ha Maa. Abhi bulati hu.
     Sana came back with Zoro within a minute. There was a broad smile on Maa's face, but her eyes were shining with tears.
Maa: Zoro, aao idhar.... Dadima ke paas aao.
    Zoro went to Maa and Maa hugged him tight. Tears fell from her eyes. She kissed his cheeks and hugged her again. Zoro was confused.
Zoro: Dadima aap ro kyu rahi ho??
Maa: Nahi beta, mai ro nhi rahi hu. Mai to aapko dekh kar bahot khus hu.
Zoro: Accha?? Mujhe laga ke aap apne ghar se yaha aaye, to aap ke pair me dard ho raha hoga.
Maa: Nahi beta, koi dard nhi hai.
Zoro: Dadima agar aapke pair me dard ho to aap mujhe batana, Mai aakar aapke pair daba dunga.
    Maa hugged this amazing kid again. She had got so emotional hearing this innocent child speak so lovingly. She kissed his forehead.
Maa: Thek hai, meri jaan. Jaao ab aap khelo.
Zoro: Ok. Bye dadima.
Maa: Bye mere bacche.
     Zoro ran inside and Maa came forward and took Sana's hand in hers.
Maa: Thank you. Thank you so much.
    Sana could not speak. She just nodded and Maa left.
     Sid picked up his mobile and made a call to Jay.
Sid: Jay mujhe baat karni hai. Tum sabse bhi aur usse bhi. Mai aa raha hu, Adi ko lekar.
