Father Son Reunion.

       Adi, Sid, Jay, Mahi and Sana were sitting in the hall. Adi, Jay and Mahi were having formal talks. Sid and Sana were sitting opposite each other. Sid had not looked at Sana even once. This is pissing Sana now. How was it all my fault?? she thought. I'm quiet because, I'm feeling guilty that he could not be a part of his child's life, because he did not knew it existed, but didn't I try contacting him??
Adi: Siddharth bol kya bolna chahta hai.
Sid: Bolna to bahot kuch tha, par ab koi fayda nhi hai. Zoro mera beta hai, aur vo ab se mere paas rahega.
Sana stood up with rage in her eyes.
Sana: Kya?? Kya kaha tune??
Sid too stood up.
Sid: Vahi jo tune suna. Aur tune sahi suna. Mera baccha mere paas rehega. Kyuki mai nhi chahta ke aage chal ke jaise tune mujhse baate chupai, vaise he mere bacche ke baare me Tu kuch chuape.
Sana: Bas kar Siddharth... Ek hi baat lagai hai.... Mujhse chupaya, mujhse chupaya....Bas kar ab. Yaha koi kuch bol nhi raha hai, iska matlab yeh nhi hai ke tu he sahi hai. Aur Zoro mera bhi baccha hai. Yeh kya jaanta hai di, iss bacche ko duniya me laane se lekar usse itna bada karne me maine kya kya taklif uthayi hai?? Bada aaya apna haq jatane. Do din se ek he ratt lagai hai, mujhe nhi pata, mujhe nhi pata...
They both took few steps forward and were now standing in front of each other.
Sid: Mujhe nhi pata kyuki tune mujhe bataya nhi. Tune mujhse teri shadi aur divorce ki baat chupayi. Kitne mauke the hamare paas?? Jay Tu jaanta nhi hai, hum almost pura time sath me bitate the. Kya isse ek bhi baar yeh khayal nhi aaya ke apne baare me mujhe batana chahiye??
Sana: Ha chupaya Siddharth. Chupaya maine, tere se.
Sid: Dekha....
Sana: Kyuki pyar karne lagi the mai tujhse... Dar gayi the... Tujhe khone ka dar lagne laga tha mujhe..... Kya karti??
Sana's voice shook. Sid looked in her eyes and saw tears form in them. Sid's tone changed. His heart went out for her. But his brain asked.
Sid: Aur Zoro ki baat??
Sana: Kya maine tujhe message nhi kiya tha??
Sid: Uss message me tune aise kuch nhi kaha tha.
Sana: Dusre din firse message kiya. Sab bataya, par tujh tak pahucha he nhi. Shayad tune number change kar liya tha. To kya karti mai??
Sid: Tu in me se kissi ko bhi bata sakti the?? Kyu nhi bataya??
Sana: Kyuki mai tujhe batana chahti the. Kisi aur ko nhi. Mai tujhse share karna chahti the Siddharth.... Par tune...
They both stopped talking and saw pain in the other's eyes. Then Sana said slowly completely forgetting about others in the room.
Sana: Siddharth tujhe kaise laga ki mai pregnant ho he nhi sakti?? Humne apne bacche ke kitne sapne dekhe the?? Humne zoro ke kitne sapne dekhe the. Par...
Sid: Jaana itne saalo tak tujhe pata tha Zoro hai... Mujhe to pata bhi nhi tha....Mai bas cheh saal tak pagalo ki tarah ek country se dusri country bhatakta raha...
Jay: Hame lagta hai aap dono ko akele me baat karni chahiye.
Sid looked at Jay. He too had forgotten they were in the room.
Sid: Nahi uski koi zarurat nhi hai. Mai maanta hu meri bhi galti hue hai isme. Par Mahi kya mujhe mere bacche ke sath rehne ka haq nhi hai?? And from now on I want to be a full time dad. Mujhe pata nhi kaisi par I want my son to stay with me.
Mahi: Fir to iska ek he solution hai.... Tum dono shadi kar lo.
Sid: Mujhe koi problem nhi hai...
Sana: Nahi....
Sid looked at Sana with hurt in his eyes, but Sana was looking at Mahi. As if reminding her something.
Sana: Nahi di, mai yeh shadi nhi kar sakti.
Sid felt his ego hurt.
Sid: Mujhe bhi koi shouk nhi hai, isse shadi karne ka. Par mai sirf mere bacche ke baare me sooch raha hu.
Adi: Sana par iske alawa aur kya option hai?? Yeh soocho ke Zoro ko ek complete family mil jaayegi.
Jay: Aur Sana Zoro baap ke liye kitna tarasta hai, yeh tujse behtar kon jaanta hai.
Sana: Mujhe time chahiye. Mai aise he faisla nhi karungi....
Sid: Kitna time??
Sana: Mai...
Adi: Sid tujhe bhi thoda sabar se kaam lena padega. Tu aise usko...
Sana: Mujhe nhi pata mujhe kitna time lagega. Yeh aise achanak aakar mere zindagi change nhi kar sakta. Ha par yeh jab chahe tab uske bete se aa kar mil sakta hai, ya apne ghar le jaa sakta hai. Mai un dono ki beech nhi aaungi.
Sid: Thek hai, par jo soochna hai jaldi sooch. Mai zyada din nhi rukne wala. Mujhe zoro, mere ghar me mere sath rehta hua chahiye.
Sana: Mujhe pata nhi kitna time lage...
Sid: Kya sab iske hisaab se hoga??
Sana: Haa...
Sid: Nahi...
Mahi: Ek minute,ek minute. Tum dono ab chote baccho ki tarah lad rahe ho. Siddharth vo time mang rahi hai. Tu bhi thoda sabar kar le. Aur vo tujhe tere bete se milne se to rook nhi rahi hai na. Aur tu Sana, tujhe bhi thoda soochne ki zarurat hai.
Sana: Thek hai di.
Mahi: Aur tujhe Zoro ko ab bata dena chahiye.
Sana nodded and looked at Sid. He went and sat on the sofa and brushed his hand on his face and hair.
Sid: Mai Zoro ko face kaise karunga yaar. I feel so guilty.
Mahi walked to him and sat next to him.
Mahi: Tujhe pata hai Siddharth tera beta, bahot he samajhdaar hai.
Sid nodded.
Sid: Pata hai.
Mahi: Bikul tujhe pe nhi gaya hai, iss mamle me.
He chuckled and they all laughed. Sana looked lovingly at him. He looked so beautiful when he smiles. This man whom she loves immensely.
Sid: Mai chalta hu. Zoro se baat karke mujhe bata dena.
Mahi: Thek hai. Thoda aaram kar le. Bahot thaka hua hai tu.
Sid: Hmmm. Adi Tu chal raha hai??
Adi: Ha chal.
    Sana has returned to her home. Zoro was sitting, watching cartoon. Sana went and sat next to him.
Sana: Baby aapke sone ka time ho gaya hai na??
Zoro: Jee mama.
    Zoro switched off the tv. Sana took Zoro on her lap.
Sana: Baito yaha mama ke pass thoda.
    Zoro gave her a lovingly smile and her heart melted. She kissed his forehead.
Sana: Baby mujhe aapko kuch batana hai.
Zoro: Kya hua mama??
Sana: Baby mujhse kuch galti ho gayi hai...
Zoro: Galti?? Kya galti??
Sana: Baby vo mai...
Zoro: Koi baat nhi na mama. Aap bhagwaan se mafi mang lo. Vo aapko maaf kar denge. Sunita didi kehti hai ke hamse agar kuch galat ho jaae to sorry bol dena chahiye.
Sana: Baby agar mai aapse sorry bolu to aap mujhe maaf kar doge??
Zoro: Mujhse??
Sana: Haa aapse. Maine na baby aapse kuch chupaya hai.
Zoro looked puzzled.
Sana: Zoro Siddharth uncle aapke papa hai.
    Zoro looked at Sana with confusion in his eyes and then after a few seconds a bright smile spread on the child's face.
Zoro: Siddharth uncle?? Mere papa??
    Sana was surprised as to how Zoro accepted the truth so happily without any questions.
Sana: Jee beta...
Zoro: Aap sach bol rahe ho na?? Vohi mere papa hai na??
Sana: Haa beta. Par baby aap naraaz nhi ho, ke mama ne aapko nhi bataya??
Zoro: Nahi mama. Maine aapko maaf kiya.
    Sana hugged him tight.
Sana: Thank you baccha. Thank you so much.
Zoro: Mama ab papa yaha hamare sath rehenge na?? Ya kya hum unke ghar jaayenge rehne??
Sana: Zoro, abhi nhi beta. Par aap jab chaho apne papa se mil sakte ho.
Zoro: Sach me?? Mai jab chahu tab unko call kar sakta hu na??
Sana: Ha beta...
Zoro: Kya mai abhi call kar du unhe??
Sana: Abhi?? Abhi nhi baby. Abhi bahot raat ho gayi hai, aur tumhare papa khud tumse milne aayenge.
      Zoro could not sleep properly the whole night. He wanted to meet his dad. He had assumed that his dad will come to meet him next morning and Sana did not wanted to take that excitement away from him. It was eight in the morning. Zoro has fallen into a deep sleep, a little while back. Sana came to the hall and called Mahi.
Mahi: Baat ki Zoro se??
Sana: Ha ki Di.
Mahi: Kaisa hai vo?? Kaise react kiya?? Tera call nhi aaya to mai samjhi ki tu baat he nhi kar pai Zoro se.
Sana: Nahi di baat ki. Vo hairaan nhi hua di?? Balki ekdum se khush hua. Jaise ke vo expect kar raha tha, ke yeh hone wala hu. Uska reaction surprising tha. Excitement me puri raat so nhi paaya hai. Abhi thodi der pehle neend lagi hai. List banai hai, vo kya kya karne wala hai, uske papa ke sath.
    Tear dropped from Sana eyes.
Mahi: Hayee, mera baccha. Dekh ab sab accha he hoga aage, Tum dono ke liye.
Sana: Mujhe kuch nhi chahiye bas mera baccha aise he khush rahe.
Mahi: Kal tujhse baat karne ka mauka nhi mila, par tune shaadi se mana kyu kiya??
Sana: Bagair pyar ki shadi ek baar kar chuki hu di. Dobara nhi karungi.
Mahi: Pagal hai kya tu Sana?? Vo tujhse kitna pyar karta hai, vo to ek andha bhi bata sakta hai.
Sana: Par ab to vo Zoro ke wajah se shaadi kar raha tha na?? Nahi chahiye mujhe aisa compromise wali shadi. Aur shadi koi ek he solution thodi hai??
Mahi: Tum dono ke mamle me to ek he solution hai. Shadi.
Sana: Yeh sab chodo. Di, Zoro yeh samaj baita hai ki aaj uske papa usse milne aane wale hai. Ab agar vo Zoro se nhi mila to baccha udaas ho jaayega. Kya kare??
Mahi: Are Siddharth ne to khud kaha hai na ke usse call karo vo aa jaayega.
Sana: Di aap usse apne ghar bulao. Mai Zoro ko le aaungi. Itna saara emotions Mai akeli handle nhi kar paungi.
Mahi: Ha yahi sahi hai. Mai baat karke call karti hu.
    It was 11:30 in the morning. Sana was with Mahi and the kids on the terrace, when the bell rang. Sana called Zoro and made him sit on her lap hugging him from behind. This gives her peace. This gives her strength and energy.
     Sid rang the bell with shivering hands. Adi was with him. The door was opened by Jay. Sid gave him a tensed smile. He had met Zoro so many times, but the thought of meeting him today as his son was sending chills through his body. He walked inside and sat on the couch. Mahi came to Sid and patted his cheek.
Mahi: Tu thek hai??
Sid: Hmmm
Mahi: Itna tension kyu le raha hai?? Kuch khayega, payega??
    Sid leaned back and rested his head on the back of the couch closing his eyes.
Sid: Kuch nhi chahiye Mahi.....I'm feeling so nervous right now.
    Mahi sat next to him, took his hand and rubbed it. He sat upright looking down on the floor.
Mahi: Kuch nhi hoga. Just relax.
Jay: Siddharth, Zoro bahot khush hai yeh jaan kar ke tu uska papa hai.
    He looked with expectation at Jay.
Sid: Sach?? Yaar mujhe bahot dar lag raha hai.
Mahi: Kuch nhi hoga bola na??. Mai usse lekar aati hu.
Adi: Sid sambhaal apne aap ko.
    Sid nodded as Mahi left.
     Mahi came with Zoro who was holding his mother's hand. They entered the hall and Sid stood up. And in a flash he realised something. Oh God. His son's eyes are so similar to his. Sid had always wondered why did Zoro eyes looked familiar. Because he has been looking at the similar ones everyday in the mirror. Sid composed himself and saw his son remove his hand from his mother's and walked towards him. Sid took a few steps forward too and he was in front of his son. Sid kneeled down to come to Zoro's eye level. Zoro was looking with so much of love in his eyes at Sid that Sid felt his eyes wet. And then Zoro lifted his hand and touched his dad's cheek.
Zoro: Papa....
    The mere word said by Zoro had so much emotions in it that tears started streaming down Sid's cheeks. Zoro wiped the tears with his tiny hands. Sid could not control himself now. He hugged his son to himself, fresh tears falling from his eyes. It was a very emotional moment. All present in the room had tears in their eyes. It's been few minutes Sid has not removed Zoro from his arms.
Adi: Siddharth...
    Sid got the hint and removed Zoro from him, taking his hands in his. Zoro removed one hand from Sid's and again dried Sid's eyes.
Zoro: Mama, Papa, mujhe aapko ek secret batani hai. Mujhe to pata tha Siddharth uncle he mere papa honge. Mai na jab se siddharth uncle se mila hu na, tab se bhagwaan se yeh pray karta tha, ki Siddharth uncle ko mere papa bana do. Aur mama apne sahi kaha tha, bhagwaan baccho ki wish jaldi puri karte hai. Bhagwaan ne meri wish puri kardi.
    He removed the other hand from Sid's too, joined it and closed his eyes.
Zoro: Thank you bhagwaan.
    Everyone in the room were stunned. God had really granted this innocent Angel's wish. They all believed it. Sana brought her hand to her mouth to prevent herself from crying out loud. Sid was sitting there like a statue. He was shocked beyond words. Does miracle still happen in this world?? He could not move, could not speak. Zoro looked with confusion in his eyes. Mahi went to their rescue. She went and sat next to them. Taking Zoro's hand and kissing it.
Mahi: Are wah baby, bhagwaan to aapki baat bahot jaldi maante hai. Next time mujhe kuch manvana ho to masi aapse he kahegi. Thek hai??
    Zoro nodded his head and Sid came out of his trance. He cleared his throat and wiped his eyes with the sleeves of his t-shirt. He took Zoro's face in his hands and kissed his cheeks and forehead. Zoro gave a happy smile. Sid then took his hands.
Sid: Zoro mera ek kaam karoge beta??
Zoro: kya papa??
Sid: Aap Bhagwaan ko mere taraf se bhi thank you bol doge??
Zoro: Thank you??
Sid: Haa...
Zoro: Kyu??
Sid: Isliye kyuki unhone mujhe Zoro diya. Unhone mujhe aap diya.
    Zoro nodded and Sid hugged him again. Zoro too hugged his dad tightly. Zoro then came out of his embrace and looked behind at his mom.
Zoro: Mama aap bhi idhar aao na...
    Sana walked to them and Mahi got up and stepped behind. Sana sat in between Sid and Zoro. Zoro then lifted his arms and embraced both his mom and dad. Sid and Sana did not look at each other, but could feel the love and happiness of their child. Sana then came out of the embrace.
Mahi: Zoro ab aap jaao aur khelo. Thek hai??
Zoro: Jee maasi.
Mahi: Aur ha, Tara ka khayal rakhna.
Zoro: Ok.
    Zoro then took a step back and was about to turn but stopped.
Zoro: Papa aap mujhse mile bagair please mat jaana ha??
     Sid pulled Zoro to him and kissed his forehead.
Sid: Nahi meri jaan. Nahi jaaunga.
    Zoro turned and ran away inside. Sid sat on the floor took his face in his hands and  cried.
Sid: I'm sorry mere bacche...... I'm sorry...
    He cried out loud.
