~Ray's POV~

I was admiring the pretty fish in the tank. Some were so bright, others had neutral colors to them. They were all so different yet they all lived so peacefully amongst each other, something I wish we could do in our world.

"Hey birthday boy." I felt a hand on my back as I was admiring the fish.

I looked to see Jun Chai before looking back into the tank. "Hey."

"We're all thinking about heading to get dinner." He said. "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah, that's fine." I nodded.

"Fine?" I heard him scoff. "It's your birthday. If you don't want to yet, then-"

As he continued to ramble, I admired the pretty fish. I wonder if he thought the same thing I did.

"Aren't they pretty?" I interrupted his rambling.

After a long few seconds, he finally answered.

"I've seen prettier." He said.

Of course. Everyone has their own opinions. I'm sure there are a lot prettier fish in the sea.

"Do you have a favorite aquatic animal?" I asked out of curiosity, continuing to stare into the tank.

"I like any type of glowing fish." Jun Chai said.

I didn't expect his answer but it made me even more curious.

"Why?" I asked, looking at him who had his head down. "Because their colors are so pretty and unique?"

"No, because they remind me of you." He stated bluntly as he looked up at me.

My eyes widened and my jaw fell open slightly. I didn't expect such an answer. Why did he like fish that reminded him of me? I was curious but I didn't know how to approach the situation. Instead, I looked into the tank, scared to approach such feelings. I sighed as the thought of how peaceful the fish were crossed my mind.

"I wish I could live peacefully like them." I said. "They probably have no worries."

"Ray." I felt a hand on my shoulder, from Jun Chai. "They live in a glass. They don't have their own world to explore. They aren't free."

Of course Jun Chai would think that. I'm not sure if I agree with his philosophy but I can understand it. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

"Boys!" Mia shouted from the end of the aquarium. "Let's go."

"Come on, Ray." Jun Chai tugged on my arm. "Let's go eat."

I looked at him and nodded. "Okay."

I turned around and started following Mia out of the aquarium, Jun Chai following me. We gathered with our group and headed out to dinner. The rest of my Birthday was pretty peaceful, even when it wasn't. I was at peace and that's what mattered.

~Jun Chai's POV~

I looked around the aquarium; I saw my members ahead of me but no birthday boy. I turned around to find Ray staring into one of the aquatic fish glasses.
