~Daiyu's POV~

The car came to a stop as D.S.H's Hyunjun and I arrived at the HAUSH dormitory. I felt my chest hurt a bit, something it only ever did when I was nervous for something, but I didn't know what it was this time.

"Remind me again why you wanted to come with me?" Hyunjun asked before we got out of the car.

I just stared at him. I don't really think I knew myself.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "I just wanted to take a step from promotions, I guess."

Hyunjun shook his head. "I can't believe you'd rather be here than resting on your one day off."

Hyunjun got out of the car and I rolled my eyes. I followed him up to the door and my chest started to pound more, hurting more. Then the door opened and there was Asher.

"Daiyu?" He muttered when he saw me, his eyes wide with surprise.

"Happy Birthday, Asher!" Hyunjun shouted.

Asher stared at both of us, as if in shock. That's when Hyunjun elbowed me.

"Happy Birthday." I muttered.

The birthday boy slightly smiled. "Thank you. Please, come in."

Asher stepped aside and we walked inside. I walked around, looking at everything in the dorm. When I saw that Hyunjun started walking away, I went to follow him, only to be stopped by Asher stepping in front of me. I looked up at him, our eyes meeting.

"I didn't expect you to come." He said. I just answered with a shrug. "Why are you here?"

I looked around as I thought of an answer until my eyes landed on Hyunjun.

"Hyunjun made me." I said. "In return, he promised to take me out to dinner tonight and pay for the meal."

He sighed before stepping to the side. "Enjoy the party."

I looked up at him. I was surprised. He had never given up that easily. Rather than me walking away, he did this time, after sighing. I was a bit disappointed and I didn't know why.

Hyunjun and I were getting ready to leave and I was a bit upset with Asher. He didn't talk to me the whole party after greeting us. It wasn't like him and I didn't come to his birthday party to be completely ignored, I knew that now, but I wasn't the type to express those kinds of feelings.

"I'll be waiting in the car." I said to Hyunjun before making my way out, nobody able to stop me.

I trudged to his car and got in, sitting there as I thought about everything. I grew angry for reasons I didn't understand. After a few minutes, Hyunjun joined me in the car.

"Finally." I muttered, my arms crossed as I was still angry.

"Sorry." Hyunjun apologized. "Asher and I were talking."

His response caught my attention. "About what?" I sat up slightly to show I was intrigued.

Hyunjun looked at me, taking notice of my actions. He then turned his whole body to face me.
