~Donghyun's POV~

We were on our way out after The Show when I noticed another group leaving too. I saw who it was and immediately gasped.

"My brother!" I exclaimed, immediately starting to run over.

"Don't be long!" I heard Mia shout as I ran away, giving her a thumbs up behind my back as I did so.

I ran over to the group of six, shouting my brother's name. "Dongju hyung!"

All of them heard me and stopped. My brother saw me and smiled, taking only a few steps towards me. I hugged my older brother, who went by Xion in the group ONEUS.

"I haven't seen you since before I debuted!" I exclaimed after our hug. "And it's been almost a year since I've debuted!"

"I know, I'm sorry." Xion apologized. "I've been busy too."

I smiled. "I know, I'm happy for you."

"Besides, it's not like you make any effort either." Xion said, crossing his arms and turning his body away from me to pout.

"I've made more than you!" I shouted. "I called you!"

"Once!" Xion shouted back.

"That's more than you have!" I stuck my tongue out at him, causing him to do the same.

"You'd think they'd be happy to see each other." His member, Hwanwoong, muttered to the others.

"We are!" Xion and I both replied to him, in unison.

"WOAH!" Seoho exclaimed. "I thought Xion and Dongmyeong were twins, not them."

"They're practically triplets." Keonhee responded.

Xion and I both snickered before saying our goodbyes.

"I should get back to my group." I said. "I don't know if I'll see you again before I finish promoting. Saturday is our last stage so if I don't, I'll make sure to call you more."

"You better." Xion wagged his finger at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Goodbye hyung, I love you."

"I love you too." He said as we hugged. "And I'll talk to you soon."

I bowed goodbye to the other ONEUS members and made my way out of the studio, joining the rest of my members in the car where we grabbed some food before heading home.

-Saturday, May 22, 2021~3:41PM-

~Jem's POV~

"E11EVEN on standby!" The Show! Music Core staff called out.

"That's us." Mia said. "Let's do our final cheer."

"Who wants to cheer?" Axel asked.

"I'll do it!" I perked up.

Nobody else spoke up so everyone agreed I could do it. I smiled before speaking. "There's nothing like finishing our promotions on our first birthday as a group. Just as our fans came to celebrate with us, let's give them the best performance yet and wish for a comeback soon. E11EVEN..."

"Fighting!" We all shouted, throwing our hands down.

"A wonderful speech yet again." Jinnie said with a bright smile.

"Didn't you give the final speech last promotions too?" Ray asked.

"Yeah." I giggled. "I kind of want to be the last one everytime, if that's okay."

Everyone smiled and nodded.

"I don't see why not." Mia said.

I giggled and that's when we were given our cue. We all headed on stage where we performed one more time, our fans even wished us a happy birthday as it was our group's first birthday. What a wonderful day to finish promotions.

~AJ's POV~

It was later in the night, a little after seven when our food arrived. Everyone admired the food, and Yating dove straight in.

"Wait!" Jun Chai stopped the female, practically shoving her food out of her hand. This caused him to get everyone's attention.

"Hey!" Yating exclaimed. "What gives?!"

"We have to make a toast!" Jun Chai exclaimed. "It's our first birthday after all!"

"Jun Chai's right." Mia said, grabbing her drink glass. "We should toast."

"I couldn't agree more." Axel agreed, also grabbing his glass.

Everyone else followed, even Yating who was a little grumpy she was kept from eating.

"But who is going to give the speech?" Ray asked.

After a few seconds of nobody saying anything, I decided to do so.

"I'll do it if no one else wants to." I said.

"Of course! You have to!" Donghyun exclaimed. "As our number one volunteer and all."

I looked at Mia and Axel, who were practically our self-proclaimed leaders even though we technically didn't have one.

"Go for it." Mia said with a heartwarming smile. Axel nodded as well.

I smiled before speaking. "Although we could have had one or two more releases, we released two mini albums in our first year. I would have to say that's pretty good for a coed group."

"Don't jinx us!" Jinnie shouted.

Everyone snickered, including me, before continuing.

"People might underestimate us but not our fans, nor do we ourselves." I continued. "Let's continue to give our fans what they deserve and continue to release great music. Let's not end our journey any time soon. And to end this speech, I couldn't ask for a better family. Let's keep going. To E11EVEN."

I raised my glass and everyone followed. "To E11EVEN!"

We all clinked our glasses together before taking a drink.

"That was beautiful AJ!" Jinnie gidded from all the anniversary excitement.

"People definitely underestimate you, that's for sure." Axel said.

I slightly blushed. I found that to be a compliment.

"Can we eat now?!" Yating asked.

"Yes, you can eat." Mia snickered.

Yating dug into her food, as did the rest of us. We enjoyed our night with one another as it was our last before our break, and who knew how long that would last.
