~Mia's POV~

I arrived at the BTS dorm and walked up to the door. I knocked and waited for the door to open, in which it was none other than the birthday boy himself.

"Happy Birthday Jungkook Oppa!" I shouted.

His face lit up bright as he snickered and stepped aside. "Come in."

I giggled and walked inside.

"I'm surprised you're having people over." I said, handing him his birthday gift. "Giving the pandemic and all."

"Yeah, just a small group." Jungkook replied. "People closest to me."

I smiled as I realized that included me.

"I'm one of the people closest to you?" I asked with a shy tone.

"Definitely." He scoffed as if there was no question about it.

That's when RM walked into the room.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, stopping in his tracks as he saw me. "MIA IS HERE!"

He immediately ran up to greet me, the rest of the BTS members rushing in to bombard me with hugs. As I was greeting my friends, I noticed Jungkook walk away with a sad look on his face. I wondered what happened.

After a few hours, it was time for everyone to leave. I helped the boys clean up and was the last to leave.

"Thanks for staying to help." Jungkook said with a smile.

"Of course." I replied.

Jungkook then looked down, a bit shyly. "Also, thank you for coming. I know you are busy now that you've debuted so it means a lot that you came."

I smiled. "If I can make it, I will always do so."

Jungkook looked up at me and smiled. That's when his sad expression from earlier crossed my mind.

"Oh, hey." I said. "You seemed a bit upset earlier. Was everything alright?"

Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed, confused as if he didn't know what I was talking about. "When?"

"When your members greeted me." I replied.

Jungkook thought for a moment and then his eyes widened.

"Oh." He muttered. "Yeah, no, everything's fine."

"You sure?" I asked, tilting my head forward.

He smiled and nodded. "Don't worry." He said, ruffling my hair.

"Hey!" I shouted, fixing it.

He snickered. "Let's meet up again soon."

"You're the one that'll have to keep that promise." I replied. "You're the busy one."

He snickered. "I will."

"Great." I smiled before turning on my heels to open the door.

"Let me!" He exclaimed, reaching for the doorknob.

I paused and looked at him as he opened the door.

"What a gentleman." I said with a playful tone.
