~Axel's POV~
I arrived home from the gym to find the dorm room kind of chaotic. There was eleven people all living in one place, and now that all the kids are done with school, there's no break. To get away from the noise, I made my way outside into the backyard to find Jinnie sketching in her notebook.
"Axel." She smiled. "Happy Birthday."
"Thanks." I sighed as I sat down.
"What's wrong?" She asked, sensing my mood.
I shrugged. "Just getting away from the chaos inside."
She snickered. "You know, if you planned something for your birthday, they would have something to do than bother one another."
I looked down. I was never one to celebrate my birthday. I never had time to so I just didn't.
"Is there anything you want to do today?" She asked. "It's not too late to do something."
I shrugged. "Not really."
"Come on, there's gotta be something!" She exclaimed.
I looked down again. I guess for a while, I've been wanting to visit home but that was selfish of me.
"It's selfish." I convinced.
"Nothing is selfish on your birthday." She replied.
I looked at her to see her eyes sparkling. I couldn't help but smile. "I want to visit home."
Her face lit up with a smile. "Let's go!"
My jaw dropped and eyes widened. "What?! We can't just drop everything and go to Daegu."
"Why not?" She asked. "It's only a three hour drive. By the time we get there, it'll be noon and we'll still have the whole day for you to visit family!"
I could see that Jinnie really wanted me to have this.
"But the members aren't going to just want to go out of the blue." I said.
"So let's make it a Jinnie and Axel trip!" She giggled. "They won't even notice we're gone."
I stared at her. She was determined to make this happen and I honestly didn't want to say no. I smiled and nodded. "Okay, let's do it."
Jinnie screeched. "I gotta go get ready!"
Within a couple minutes, Jinnie was ready. The two of us made our way out to the car, nobody even noticing we left just as she expected. I opened the door to get into the driver's seat and she stopped me.
"Please." She scoffed. "It's your birthday. I'll drive."
She had a bright smile on her face and somehow I couldn't deny her. I nodded and walked around to the other side. Jinnie let me do everything while she drove. We listened to all my favorite songs and just talked, or relaxed, about whatever. It was a peaceful three hour drive, just me and her.
When we got to Daegu, she dropped me off with my family and decided to spend the day by herself. I invited her to stay but she told me she didn't want to intrude. I spent the day with my mom and sister, who were extremely happy to see me. After a couple hours, I met Jinnie at Duryu Park like we agreed upon. I found the female sitting by a fountain, just looking out. I found it a bit odd but didn't judge.
