Personality: Daiyu is walled-off, quiet, and shy. She's introverted and doesn't show her emotions. She usually has a straight face and will not express her feelings. When you first meet Daiyu, she's aloof, very quiet, and shy. She isn't good at talking to people and is sometimes seen to be unapproachable. Daiyu is usually misunderstood because of this which is why she's built an invisible wall around herself. Once you get to know her, she's actually a kind, intelligent, honest, responsible, loyal, and compassionate person who is unable to express her feelings easily. Daiyu is the type of person to show small gestures and look out for the people she cares about. Beneath her cold exterior, Daiyu is insecure and doesn't have much of a thick skin. She doesn't want to be a burden to other so she'll often bottle up and hide her emotions from the people around her until she's alone.
Background: Daiyu was born in Hangzhou, China. She's the youngest of three children to a Chinese couple. Her family is wealthy since her father was a very successful entrepreneur and CEO of a tech company while her mother was a lawyer and owned a popular law firm. Even though her parents were busy, they made sure to create time for their children. As a child, Daiyu did well in school as an athlete and student. She also learned to play the piano and to play the guzheng from her grandmother which started her love for music. By the time she graduated from high school, Daiyu earned a scholarship for volleyball and would be moving to California for college. But before she left to go to California, she got scouted by a YG representative and became a trainee. She would stay at YG Entertainment until she left and joined Pinky Entertainment.
