~Mia's POV~

I sat down on the couch after finishing my hair and makeup and checked my phone. I still had no reply from Jungkook after I tried to call him earlier. I called him a couple times today to say happy birthday but he never answered. I'm sad to know he hasn't responded to the missed calls either.

I called him again to see if he would answer this time but nothing. I couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh.

"Why don't you call one of his groupmates?" Axel asked me.

I looked at him who was sitting on the couch across from me. "How did you know-"

"Because you have a fat crush on him." Axel didn't even let me get the question out.

I looked down in an embarrassed blush but then realized what he said. "Wait, that's such a good idea."

I looked at Axel who rolled his eyes at the fact that I was surprised. I snickered before adding a final input. "I guess you aren't just useful for your looks and voice."

"I hate you." Axel glared at me.

I snickered. "Love you too."

He rolled his eyes again and I went to find Jimin or V in my contacts. I expected one of them to be with him the most. I found V first and called the number. Before too long, there was no more ringing and just laughing.

"Hello?!" I asked.

"Hello!" V exclaimed. He sounded like he had been drinking. "Jiyeonie!"

I snickered at the extra use of my real name.

"Hey Tae, is Jungkook there?" I asked.

"Duh!" He exclaimed. "It's his birthday, why wouldn't he be?"

It sounded like they had been drinking a lot. I was somewhat glad I wasn't video calling them right now.

"Can I talk to him?" I asked.

"Why didn't you just call him?" V asked.

"Kookie forgot his phone, that's why." I heard Suga say in the back and then laugh.

I felt so much relief when I heard that. I was worried Jungkook was ignoring me so knowing he just forgot his phone at home proved me wrong so it made me feel a lot better.

"Oh yeah." V said laughing then handed the phone to Jungkook. "Someone wants to talk to you~"

"Hi Jiyeon." Jungkook sounded shy. It reminded me of his old self and it made me smile. Even drunk, he was still somewhat himself.

"Happy Birthday, oppa." I told him with a smile on my face.

"Thanks." I could tell he was blushing on the other end, even if I couldn't see him.

"I tried calling all day, I thought you were ignoring me." I spoke the truth. It's not like he would remember this anyway so I felt I could express my feelings a bit more.

"Oh no!" I could hear the worry in his voice. "I would never ignore you Jiyeon. I'm sorry I made you feel that way. We've been out all day and my dumb self forgot my phone at home. It's probably blowing up with birthday messages."
