A couple of weeks later

Me and Will talked every day. I couldn't imagine a day when I wasn't talking to him, i couldn't even imagine an hour without me snapping him. I spent hours looking at my phone and smiling at my screen. The little sarcastic comments he would make would make me laugh for days. He understood me. It's like i had known him for ages. I felt like I could talk to him about anything for hours on end.

I lived with my Dad, he was the owner of a company which meant he had to go away a lot, which left me under the care of the Partridges. My mum died when I was 10. She got really sick and passed away from cancer.  Dad always said that I looked just like her, I always did think we looked like each other.

Tomorrow, my Dad was going to Japan for a business trip, something about merchandise for the company. I never understood why he had to go all that way, away from me but i guess i was used to it. It gets easier after a while. Fortunately, this meant I would stay with Millie and her family. Dad said he would be gone for 2 weeks, which meant two weeks with my best friend. What more could i want? I would miss him of course but I couldn't wait to stay with Millie.

The next morning I arrived at Millie's and saw her slaving away in the kitchen,  she seemed to be making her breakfast. She would always have her favourite cereal (coco pops). She liked how the coco pops would turn the milk chocolatey. I liked them too every time i came round to Millie's we would have them

While Millie was munching away at her coco pops her mum and dad were in the kitchen making a cup of tea. Approaching the kitchen table, Steve asked "how was it?"

Y: "It was fine, I'm kinda used to it by now you know."

I smiled.

S: "good good." He patted me on the back and they both went up stairs.

I was sad about my dad leaving again of course but I was grateful that I had people like Millie and her parents to look after me.

After speaking to Millie about what we were going to do today (which was usually nothing) my phone vibrated. Curiously, I pulled my phone from my back pocket to see the notification.

My hand flew over my mouth.

M: "What?"

I showed her my phone.

She screamed.

M: "OMG WHAT!"

Will had sent me a text message saying he wanted to meet tomorrow.

I felt like I was having a heart attack. I could barely hold my phone i was shaking so much.

Y: "What do i say?"

M: "UHHH I don't know maybe... YES."

Y: "But if i reply now I'll look desperate, like i was staring at my phone waiting for him to text me."

M: "Seriously, your over thinking is a serious problem."

I scowled at her.

She laughed.

Plucking up the courage I decided to text him back.

Will

Hey, I was thinking maybe we should meet up sometime?

Yes, that would be so nice!

Okay, how about today at 8?

Today!? I mean sure, I've got nothing better to do i suppose.
