A week had gone by. School was as boring as it always is. Me and Louis went back to pretending we didn't exist to each other and Millie still hadn't suspected anything. It was saturday which meant the whole partridge family were coming to watch me play football. Dad was away again which meant I had the house all to myself. As i was 17 now i didn't have to stay at the Partridges as i was old enough to stay at my own house. However, i did have to check in with them every morning to make sure he knew I was alright.

He left last night, so the partridges were picking me up at 9:30 so they could drive me to the game. It was weird having the house to myself, i guess it had always been quiet as it was always just me and my Dad. I put my studs on as a beep came from outside, which meant it was time to go. I opened the door and walked outside to jump into the partridge's car.

I opened the car door and hoped inside. Louis was in the middle and Millie was next to him, Steve was driving and Emma was sitting next to him.

Millie and Louis smiled to greet me.

S: "alright kiddo? Ready for today?"

Y: "i think so. It will be nice to see everyone again."

M: "you better not loose otherwise we would have come all this way for nothing!"

She laughed.

S: "right then let's set off."

We were in the car for about 20mins. Nothing really exciting happened, Millie was listening to her music and me and Louis were on our phones. We had finally arrived and everyone hopped out of the car and shut the door behind them. I opened the car door but before I could get out Louis grabbed my hand making me stop.

L: "I don't think i'll be able to control myself with you wearing those shorts."

He cheekily laughed.

I hit him.

Y: "Ha ha very funny."

He let go off my hand.

Millie opened the car door.

M: "Are you guys coming or not?"

L & Y/n: "yes"

I climbed out of the car and waited till Louis started to climb out too. I pushed his head down pack onto the seat just to annoy him. I ran away laughing as he struggled to get back up. They walked me over to my team.

E: "Goodluck Y/n"

S: "go get them kid!"

M: "You've got this!"

I was so lucky to have people watch me as supportive as them.

After 30 minutes of warming up we were about to start the match. I was nervous. Even though I had been playing football for years, the nerves never really went away. The referee's whistle blew and it started. The other team hit the post and thanks to some fantastic saves we were still in it. A few minutes after my teammate passed the ball to me. It was a one on one. I kicked the ball forward chasing onto it. The defender missed the ball leaving me alone with the keeper. I striked.  I watched the ball slowly reach the back of the net. I jumped for joy. I scored. My teammates came rushing towards me as the adults started to cheer. My team crowded around me giving me high fives left right and center. Running back to my half I looked over to the Partridges. They were all cheering and clapping. Millie's hands were raised in the air as she cheered. Louis was smiling and while clapping he winked at me. He continued to whistle adding to the immense noise.

After another 70mins we were done. We had won, at the end of the match it was 3-2 to us. I was exhausted. I said Goodbye and rushed to the Partridges as I was eager to get home.
