It had been two months since that night. My dad returned home from his trip in Japan and he told me all about the incredible sushi they had there. Of course I was jealous but i was glad he was home.
Me and Will had gotten more serious and I had never been happier. Of course i had to ask Millie what she thought about him first as if she didn't approve, well... I wouldn't be dating him, her and my Dad's opinion is the most important to me. I introduced him to my dad and I got to meet his whole family and his dog Buddy (he definitely likes me more than Will). Will said that his Mum and Dad really liked me. I can't tell you how happy i was when he said that. It was only after the 3rd date he asked me to be his Girlfriend. Just to tease him i paused for a long time and then said yes. He looked so scared bless him.
Me and Will went out together again to have a pic nic. The sun was shining and i couldn't be happier. I had a gut feeling that i was going to finish this day with a burnt face which i was not looking forward to.
Lying on the pic nic blanket he pulled out a packet of chocolate covered strawberries from his bag. They were my favourite! But how did he know I never mentioned it to him.
Y: "How did you know?"
W: "I have my resources."
Y: "Let me guess... Millie"
He smiled.
W: "You guessed right."
W: "Open your mouth"
I tilt my head back and open my mouth. Of course he picked the biggest strawberry, he knew I had a tiny mouth. I struggled to eat the whole thing so i ended up eating chunk out of it.
Y:"Hmmm delicious."
After lying in the sun and talking for god knows what for a long time, Will abruptly sat up.
He whispered "is that Louis?" while pointing at a tall brown haired boy.
"I don't know, maybe"
Will shouted "LOUIS!" and continuously waved to grab his attention.
As they approached his face got more familiar and so did his girlfriends.
Y: "You're very lucky that's them, it would've been embarrassing if it wasn't."
I chuckled.
W: "hey!"
L: "Hey."
Louis seemed off; they haven't seen each other in a while and all he said was hey. It was so strange.
Me and his girlfriend awkwardly smiled at one another.
Y: "Hi, I'm y/n it's nice to meet you."
E: "Hi, I'm Ellie it's nice to meet you to"
E: "I love your earrings"
Y: "Thank you Will got them for me"
After what seemed to be a good 20 minutes of chatting I had learnt that Ellie met Louis at school and that she had a pet cat named Dino. She was really nice and easy to talk to.
After a while, Louis and Ellie had now both sat down. Ellie was lying down, resting her head on louis' lap and I was in between Will's legs resting on his chest. Louis still seemed like he didn't want to be here; he was barely talking to his best friend. Me and Ellie were the only ones keeping the conversation going.
Looking up at will i smiled and said "this is nice"
He looked down at my grinning face and kissed me gently. He smiled.
L: "Hey Y/N, did Will ever tell you about Lily."
His face looked ashamed.
"Who's Lilly?" I turned to him.
He didn't answer.
L: "His ex"
L: "Before dating you, Will made quite a few little mistakes didn't you."
I was worried.
L: "Are you going to tell her or should I?"
He looked away.
L: "He cheated on her."
E: "Louis please..."
L: "Not once, not twice.."
W: "Shut up Louis"
L: "But three times"
I turned to him again hoping I'd get an answer.
Y: "Is it true?"
He was silent.
I got up. I needed to get away.
"Ellie it was really nice to meet you, but i should probably get going now."
W: "y/n wait"
W: "Thanks, a lot Louis"
Nearly in tears I kept walking, I didn't want to talk to him right now, I couldn't even look at him. Why would he not tell me this? Why did he keep this from me?
W: "y/n wait please"
Y: "Leave me alone Will."
He stopped following me.
I kept walking and managed to get away.
Walking home, I texted Millie about what happened. She told me to give myself space from him. She always had the best advice. She would always be the one i would ask for advice, i could trust her with my life.
I just didn't understand. Why would he not tell me this? but then again how would he tell me that. If he told me that i would question if i could trust him but if he didn't i would also question whether i could trust him? Neither one had a good out come.
Walking up my hill to my house, I realised that Louis was a few paces in front of me. I was furious. Why would he say that? This all could have been avoided.
Y: "Louis!"
He turned to see who it was.
I pushed him.
Y: "Why would you do that?"
I hit him again.
Y: "It was none of your business. Why did you have to say that?"
I hit him again. Out of frustration I started hitting his chest repeatedly. I had never been angrier. He grabbed my hands, stopping me from hitting him even more and pinned me to the brick wall. He was close to me. Our faces nearly touched i.
L: "done now?"
No i wasn't done.
Y: "Let go of me!"
He continued to hold me there.
Y: "I said let go of me."
I snatched my arms from his hands.
My eyes started swelling up and I began to cry, I couldn't hold it any longer.
Y: "Why would you do that?"
L: "You needed to know."
Tears rolling down my cheeks, I shouted "No i didn't Louis."
Y: "What did i ever do to you, for you to make me feel like this"
L: "goodnight y/n"
He walks inside the gate and it closes.
Y: "Don't walk away from me. Come back now"
I sobbed and wiped my eyes.
Y: "Fine, have it your way."
I stormed back into my house and jumped straight into bed. Why did he do that? Why was he being such a prick. Ever since i got with Will he suddenly changes? Before he didn't even take notice of me and now he was potentially ruining my relationship. It didn't make sense. My eyes were tired from all the crying and emotion so eventually I fell asleep, hoping this would all be over by the morning.
