Chapter Sixteen

Everything was spinning. The ground. The sky. Me. I saw a mix of colors, none of them making specific shapes. There was a blur of voices that soon turned into a conversation. 

"Why would she be down there?"

"How did she even know about it?"

"Ugh, you're just giving her what she wants. Stupid attention seeker."

I could easily recognize the voices. They belonged to Chloe, Casee and Pansy. I wanted soo bad to just jump up and punch that little bitch in the face and trust me I would but for some reason I couldn't move a muscle. 

"Give it a rest Pansy. Complaining isn't going to get you anywhere," said a voice I recognized as Casee's. I heard stomping and a door slamming before the room got quiet except for the occasional shuffling. I was constantly trying to move but nothing worked. Finally I heard a door open and Madame Pomphrey's distinct footsteps came bustling over to me. 

"Anything dearies?" she asked. There was no reply so I assumed they had shook their heads. "It really is a shame," she continued on, "Ms. Parker has already been in the hospital wing too much this year."

Parker. God I wish that name was still mine.

Have you ever had that feeling? The feeling where you want something soo bad that it hurts...but you just can't have it? I've been starting to feel like that a whole lot more lately and I'm not liking it a ton. It's as if the world just doesn't want me to be happy anymore. Well I shouldn't say that I have Casee and Chloe but they can't do anything about daddy. No one can. Except for me and even I can't do much. But you know what? I'll play Voldemort's little game, and I'm going to win. I will beat him in some way, even if it costs me my life.
