Mr. Boss, His Assistant and The Intern

Chapter 2

Lucas got up from his seat after arranging papers into a file and made sure there's no mistake. He took a breath, fixed his face and went to the door. Lisa who was typing something noticed the movement and watched Lucas went into the door.

Why P'Lucas is looking too stiff since the boss came?

Lucas got into the office after he heard a muffled 'come in' from the boss. He carefully closed the door and made his way to the desk. Nai glanced at the guy for a while and kept his eyes back on the summary file earlier.

"Here is the profile you ask, sir." Lucas gave the file. Nai took it and straightaway looked through the papers. Lucas felt clueless of what he should do as Nai didn't say anything. "Um, is there anything more you need sir?" Lucas decided to ask.

Nai was going through the papers in the file and noticed the newly inked paper. "The intern had come?"

Lucas blinked. "Oh, yes sir."

"Why isn't he coming to greet me?"

"He arrived earlier and I ask Khun Kin to let him settle down first before ready to meet you, sir. Do you want me to call the intern?" Lucas asked. Nai hummed.

"He's working here now. I have met the rest of the team, it's logical that I shall meet him too. Right?" Nai said in clipped tone. Lucas gave a weird smile. Nai noticed the changes and smirked back challenging an answer.

"Yes, sir. I will get him to come and greet you." Lucas said politely and turned to the door. He got out and closed the door. With a huff, he turned and walked to Tee and Kin who were in the deep talk. Lucas noticed Kin was teaching the intern how to use the customize program for their company where they used to key-in all the internal data. "Tee."

Tee looked up. Kin also turned when he heard Lucas' voice. Lucas gave a smile. "You didn't even let the guy breath, Ai'Kin? Jump straight into work." Lucas said cheerily at Kin. Kin grinned.

"The earlier the better, three months always pass by quickly. Not that he had something else to do. What's up, P'?" Kin asked. Lucas hummed and turned to Tee.

"Have Kin bring you to meet the team?" Lucas asked.

Tee nodded. "Yes, P' introduced me to them one by one." Tee answered. Lucas nodded.

"But there's another person you yet to meet." Lucas said calmly. Tee looked clueless while Kin formed an O.

"I thought he won't bother about the intern." Kin said. Lucas chuckled but Kin noticed it wasn't the usual cheery one. Kin looked at Lucas. Lucas was looking at Tee.

"The boss asked for you. Come, let me introduce you to him." Tee blinked, a bit nervous. Lucas just smiled and nodded slightly. Tee got up obediently. Kin just looked at them. Lucas gestured Tee to follow and the new intern followed behind Lucas to the boss' office.

Lucas knocked the door and got inside. Nai was looking through the profile when the two came in. "Sir, this is the new intern, Tee Kittichai Traipipattanapong. Tee, this is Khun Ritthirong Dechaphatthanakun, our manager." Tee wai-ed and bowed slightly at the introduction.

"I'm Tee, the new intern krub, Khun Ritthirong. Nice to meet you. I will work hard for the next three months." Tee repeated his small introduction he had been saying earlier when he met the team. Nai looked up at the same time Tee looked up. Both of them noticed each other.

Tee just gave a smile and tipped his head slightly in recognition. Nai blinked once and nodded back. Lucas raised his brow silently when a slight curl of the boss' lips appeared. Is that a smile? This stuck-up monster know to smile? Lucas kept his silence though. The moment of silence passed before Nai talked.
