william reaches where letoile and the peoples are, the lady he had rescued earlier when he had just arrived ran towards him, her son and daughter. "my- my kids, thank you.. thank you so so much." she silently mumbled the words and william could only nod and assure the lady that she did not owe him anything, it is his job.

turning over to his squad mate, "where are the others?" he asked. "they are inside the forest sir. the villagers is safe here with me, you don't have to worry." he nodded, got in his broom and flew straight.

william got back at the village and seeing his squad talking with the people, the mission was done but he was looking for one. "have you seen miss Y/N? i haven't spotted her ever since i arrived." he asked, trying his very best not to show too much emotions.

"i noticed her arrival earlier though didn't really see her in battle, perhaps she had already gone back to the hq after hearing the mission as a false report?" klaus replied to him, the others agreeing.

william was not satisfied with this, you couldn't have gotten back into the capital without checking on the people, you couldn't have gotten back without letting him know, you wouldn't just leave him knowing he could be in danger.

"well then..' he sighed lowly so no one would notice, "let's go back and have a rest ourselves." he jumped in his broom and flew back.

not looking back even once.

"captain vangeance.." the called man turned around and met yvane, "can i ask how did your mission with Y/N do? and for her whereabouts aswell, i've been looking for her." she continued, william was confused, the disbelief and disappointment eating his insides.

"well, wasn't she back early? you should check her room. maybe she's sound asleep by now." he tried not to sound annoyed. "i came from her room actually, and she is nowhere around the base. i wasn't informed that she was on a mission with you until i met alecdora on the way out. he told me you two attended a false report at her home back at dian." the woman informed.

william was calm, outside. yvane practically meant that you were still back at the village, and that meant danger. you may be a skilled knight and he's certain that you're capable of just taking care of yourself yet the thought of him getting too carried away and letting his emotions get the best of him to the point where he didn't realize his actions clearly was a shame.

you could be in danger, and he won't forgive himself if something were to happen to you.

"if that is so.. i'll go and look and speak about your matters. you can go and rest." with that, he walked off, just when he turned around and flew by his broom on a fast speed, his heart sunk.

"no helix, we certainly cannot. vangeance had told me that i'm receiving a letter for another mission today and i can't leave the base without receiving it yet, atleast i don't want to."

"y/n. i just need a book from yvane, is that so much to ask for?" the whining floating fairy next to you replied.

"yes it is, i don't want captain to think that i'm lacking off, we also have other matters to attend to, so you could stop whining and come with me. you need sunlight to touch your skin." you rolled your eyes at the spirit, she's been bugging you for days only for you to get more books from yvane's family's library and it was always embarrassing. things you do for people, really.
