"hello? is anyone there?" a voice piped making the girl turn around, a gasp ringed in her ears as she sighed. "who are you?" a boy asked and she flashed a small smile knowing it's just a boy. the boy stared for about thirty seconds, eyeing the girl's clothes. she was wearing a black cape covering her whole body and has a blue mask that covers her eye part and a red one on her lower face, she lowered her mask and smiled at the boy softly.

"oh uhm.. hello.." she waved and the boy smiled, "i'm asta!" and continues with a mumble "you look kinda pretty.."

the girl's eyes widen, this boy's mouth sure can blabber stuff. she chuckled. "well, i'm here to see some stuff. i apologize for bothering what were you doing earlier young sir." she says, a kind smile on her face making the boy flush red. then soft wind passed by them as it blew the girl's cape a little to the side.

"i- i-.. you're a magic knight ms pretty?!!" he suddenly shouted, the woman does a quiet sign  before sighing again, "how smart of you, but i'm here as a under.. cover, please be quiet. i won't stay too long i just-" after that soft wind breeze was followed by a stronger one.

a sigh was heard from another person, "asta, are you going to ditch the exams now? why do i even have to find you when i can just go by myself and- who's this?" a boy in black tight long sleeved shirt, raven haired and a cold aura speaks. the girl clears her throat, "it's nice to meet you asta, and you too young sir.." she gestures at both the boys, "yet i shall go for now, goodbye." she waved goodbye at the two who's had a puzzled look on their faces as they watched the woman jump off the big skull and disappear.

"who was that?" the raven head asked, "she's.. oh, i didn't get her name!! well, let's go! i'm exited!" asta replied.

the girl jumped off the big skull and towards her laughing friend, "are you satisfied now?" She rolled her eyes, "yes, thank you miss yvane." she took the paper her friend was holding.

"let's go now!~ i hope we can see the examiners.." she stopped with a gasp, "what if we get a junior? aah~ that'd be so cute and they will definitely get spoiled by me~ oh us~" she giggled, both of them jumping into her chariot and flying back to their base.

"if any royal is deserving.." her friend murmured and the girl beside her didn't seem to hear or she thought so. "i hope they're nice too."

'i hope anyone like me can be in our squad too.' the girl thought.

"lady y/n? captain vangeance is waiting for you, the knights exams are about to start." alecdora announced, you were standing in one of the windows of the stadium you once entered. "ah yes, i was just about to go." you answered with a small smile and walked towards where the captains will be at.

feeling no presence behind you, you turned around and saw no sign of alecdora coming. "are you not coming?" you asked as you tilt your head alittle. "captain has your company, i wouldn't be needed there anyway and i will also like to watch from a different view this time. afterall, this batch of mages don't have the most interesting power other than the commoner boy who holds a four leaf clover, rumored to be the grimoire the first emperor held." he replied, and you just nod.

"you'll see the same thing as you always,  alecdora." you softly giggled, "well then, i would get going. i'm also looking forward to this boy you speak of, hopefully he don't disappoint."

arriving at the stage like platform, you saw your captain standing at the middle. a smile formed on your lips.

you heard murmurs and gibberish whispers from the audience below as you walk towards vangeance.

"and that's william vangeance, the captain of the most powerful magic knight squad, the golden dawn." was the most audible sentence you've heard, since it was said loudly as if bragging, were you that late? "whaa??!! then who's that pretty lady standing next to him??!!!" you furrow your brows and gulped, feeling anxiety rushing over your body in a flash. even after almost a whole year being magic knight and serving the people, you've never faced the crowd like this. as they say, everything has it's first time and you seem to not be ready for it at the moment, your shaking hands proves so.
