somewhere, in a different world, at some lifetime, at the right time.

"captain, i've come to report about the exploration mission of the newly found ruin."

the man drops his pen and raises his head. a warm smile, and a gentle expression welcomed the knight in front of him.

"i'm listening."

the knight starts his report, all well with one particular problem which they were unable to solve without the authority of a captain, or the wizard king himself.

"hm, i see. i shall speak of these matters with the wizard king, you may return to your chambers and have a well earned rest, thank you for taking your time to report."

"yes, captain vangeance."

with that the captain made haste and went on his way to report to the wizard king, the issue at hand is not much to be overly worried of, but it does require the attention of the wizard king as soon as possible.

"william." the wizard king welcomes the captain, and the latter greets him as he made his way to the emperor's desk.

"sir julius, i come with a report."

william starts, straight to the point.

"how straightforward of you." julius snickers.

"oh, apologies. have you been well, sir?" william's expression changes as he realizes his formality which the wizard king had mentioned and asked to be "lowered down" multiple times.

julius smiles, "that, i have. and i suppose you too. then, i wouldn't take too much of your time and get us over with the report. i'd be thrilled to hear of what amazing magic tools your knights had discovered."

william chuckles at the sparkling gaze of the man.

"my knights had came back successful from the expedition of the recently discovered ruin. although they've found historical creations that does not seem to be our kingdom's."

"hm, may i ask how sure are you that these aren't ours?"

"my squad's specialist had them examined, i would still suggest the palace specialists to check the artifacts before further orders, sir."

"i see, then, have your knights deliver these artifacts by tomorrow. i shall have marx send a notice for the examiners." julius ends the discussion with so.

william salutes, and were about to turn to leave. that, before the wizard king calls for him.

"william, as you're here already.. if i must, may i appoint you for quite a personal task?" julius had a small smile on his expression, one that william did not recognize to be doing him of any good.

even so, the captain couldn't have possibly decline a personal mission from the wizard king himself.

"of course sir."

"i have myself a guest from the heart kingdom. she's a successor from one of the royal families, and as coincidence has it, the lady is here in search for long lost royal magic tools." julius blurts out, and william wonders with the amount of luck and coincidence this must be.

"why, that is indeed such coincidence, will this have something to do with the mission you have for me, sir?"

"yes, please escort her until our specialists have examined the artifacts. and if you may, explain the situation with her to save the lady the effort of trying to search for her said tools. pass on my word that she may continue her search if these magic tools your knights have found is not the historical tools she's looking for."
