Your POV:

The first few weeks of school were difficult to adjust to. I was given permission to leave the school premises if I ever needed to, and all my friends had been moved to sit around me. Although Shujin may not be the best school they were at least attempting to fix their wrongdoings. My parents were also doing their best to support me in any way they could.

I was offered counseling on multiple occasions but every time I turned it down in the hopes that someone who required the help more than me was able to get a session. Some days were more difficult than others but I was never alone, there was always someone there to help me if I needed it.

"So (Y/N)-Chan, have you been keeping up with the latest shows?"

My friend asked. I could tell that most of her attention was on her phone and not me so I gave a small response of

"No"

And continued looking out the window. Outside I could spot Takamaki, Sakamoto, and the new boy, well I guess he's not new anymore. Ever since Kamoshida confessed his sins I've wanted to have a conversation with Takamaki-san but seeing her with Sakamoto honestly pained me a little. Most of the time I saw them they were always together.

Even outside of school. They do look like a good couple so I shouldn't think ill of them, especially since Takamaki-san went through worse than me, and here I am staying away from any guys. The guys in my class were told to keep their distance and for the most part, they did. At first, everyone spoke to me and asked a lot of questions but after a while, everyone seemed to have lost interest.

A bunch of people had asked me if I had some sort of relationship with Sakamoto to which I profusely denied even when I wished there was something between us. Ever since the confession he hasn't even looked at me. Not even a glance.

"Earth to (Y/N)"

A hand was waving in front of my face. My body turned towards the direction of the sound and I gave a small noise of acknowledgment.

"I'm quickly going to run off to the lady's room. Will you be alright by yourself?"

I gave a small nod and watched as my friend's figure retreated outside the classroom. The rest of the group had left to grab us food from the cafeteria as it was lunch. It quickly got boring being all alone so I decided to go on a little adventure, aka going to the cafeteria by myself. The hallways were filled with students talking amongst one another enjoying their break from lessons.

From the distance, I spotted Principle Kobayakawa and he quickly waved towards me. I approached slowly and sucked in a breath. I was gonna be alright it is just the principle. No one is going to hurt me.

"Hello (L/N). I hope your managing to fit in just fine after the small incident."

I felt like I was going to blackout. The world around me was spinning and I couldn't focus on a single thing. It felt like all eyes were on me as if they were expecting me to fail and collapse. I could feel my own hands fidget with the hem of my skirt as I gave a small nod towards the principles comment. It was as if he missed all the small signs of being uncomfortable as he stepped in to get closer.

"I would like to inform you that from tomorrow on the school will have its own counselor and I would like you to attend his sessions. More information will be announced during tomorrow's assembly so I hope to see you there."

My eyes were trained on the ground focusing on everything but the male standing in front of me uncomfortably close. There was an attempt to look up and hold a normal conversation but I just couldn't. With my left hand, I formed a small thumbs up and walked off away from him. My legs moved as fast as they could and everything around me was nothing but a blur, there were no indications as to where I was going. For a brief moment, I looked up and instantly realized I was about to go outside where I had spotted Sakamoto and the rest.

I gulped down and decided to proceed and look for them, so I could thank him and Takamaki for what they had done for me. The old door opened after I pushed it with enough force and made a sound of disagreement.

Third person POV:

(Y/N) stepped outside and the cold air slapped her across the face like a whip. Even though it was May the Spring air was still quite cold. The girl scanned the people that were outside and was a bit disappointed when she couldn't find the ones she was looking for. Until she heard familiar voices. Following the noise, she discovered two of her friends conversing with Ryuji.

Their arms were crossed around their chests as they stared at him, boredom evident in their voice. Ryuji had a scowl on his voice as he was staring daggers between the two girls.

"This is none of your business Sakamoto-kun. (Y/N) You don't need to know shit! She seems happy and that's all that matters."            Said one of the girls. Ryuji's face turned into pure disgust as he began speaking

"You can't just pretend you're her friend and then complain about her! So what if you skets can't hang out with guys when (L/N)-san is around? Her safety is the top priority."

The blonde-haired boy gritted his teeth in anger as the girls continued to excuse their poor behavior towards their 'friend'. He knew he wasn't getting anywhere with them. (Y/N) continued to eavesdrop shocked at the revelation that her own friends were annoyed by her and referred to her as a prude. She was greatly hurt by this and finally decided to step in.

It wasn't fair someone else was dealing with her issues, especially when it was the boy she liked even if she was absolutely terrified of him at the minute. There was a fire lit in within her.

"I can't believe I trusted you!"

The two girls looked back horrified to find (Y/N) standing there with a pained expression. They began to play coy with the girl attempting to lie their way of the situation. Ryuji had backed away as much as he could in an attempt to respect the girl's space. (Y/N) couldn't hold it in anymore and she just broke down on the spot falling to the ground. Her 'friends' fled the scene and went to report Ryuji and place all the blame on him.

However, Ryuji just wanted to calm the poor girl down without getting too close.

"I'm so pitiful aren't I?"

She said. Her voice breaking as she spoke.

"I think you're strong and not pitiful ya know. You dealt with that bastard bull and still stayed strong around everyone else. You just chose a bunch of bad apples from the store."

(Y/N) let out a small chuckle at that. She admired Ryuji's attitude even if it was rude and uncaring. She gave him a small smile as she looked up. (Y/N) gripped her skirt with all the power she could muster but began moving towards him. Ryuji was of course surprised at that but attempted to make himself look as friendly as possible.

After a couple of steps (Y/N) stopped moving and looked away once again. The two stayed there in silence enjoying the other's presence. Eventually, the bell rang separating the duo into their different classrooms but not bother Ryuji offered to hang out with (Y/N) during their breaks which she gladly accepted.

Authors note: I know I haven't been posting much of the story but I shall try and update more. Also would people like a One-shot book of the Persona 5 cast (and from the other games) as I am considering starting one.
