Ladybug and Chat Noir rarely showed up in Paris. There were no akumatized victims. Absolutely none.
Ladybug found it suspicious at first, but as the weeks went by, she grew used to it. Ladybug and Chat Noir finally felt relaxed, and focused on their lives. Occasionally, they would meet up and do some patrolling, but eventually stopped because everything became safe.
It was as if Hawk Moth gave up. They felt relieved.
However, giving up was the last thing on Hawk Moth's mind.
"Finally." Gabriel sighed as he held up the peacock miraculous. "It's fixed."
He walked up to Nathalie, and as he was walking, the butterflies around him moved out of his way. But in Nathalie's stomach, the amount of butterflies were increasing.
"Are you ready to execute our plan, Nathalie?" Gabriel handed the miraculous to her.
"Yes, Gabriel." Nathalie nodded.
"We've set the table and gave appetizers for our dear superheroes." Gabriel transformed into Hawk Moth.
"Now, let's give them the main dish." He grinned.
