Nathalie stared down at the positive pregnancy test on the bathroom counter.
This explained the constant butterflies in her stomach and the puking. If this was Gabriel's baby, which it definitely was, she would be about 16 weeks pregnant.
Nathalie groaned. Not only did she allow her boss to knock her up, she completely neglected the baby.
*Flashback*
"Nathalie?"
Nathalie heard a knock on her door. She called for the person to come in. Gabriel walked in and sat on her bed.
"Gabriel? Is everything okay?" She sat up.
"Yes, yes, everything's fine. But.." Gabriel looked away. "I could use some company tonight."
Nathalie felt butterflies in her stomach. At first, she thought her boss meant to sit down and have some tea or something, but when Gabriel looked up and looked at her with hunger in his eyes, she knew what he wanted instantly. So she gave in.
Poor Nathalie. She had no idea that her boss only thought of her as a one-night stand.
The next day, it was almost as if Gabriel forgot what had happened.
It practically broke her.
*End of flashback*
Nathalie knew what she had to do. She picked up her cellphone and dialed the nearest medical centre.
