In this fast paced world
Lets have something slow
Lets ditch the fireworks for a campfire
And we can write each other love letters
Lets leave texting for the boring part of our day
I will extinguish the butterflies
Will a cup of coffe do instead?
Lets forget passion on the doorsteps and choose understanding for our days
Lets put on the radio and slow dance down the hallway
Will you kiss my soul before our lips taste one another?
And for the sake of simplicity can i write our names next to each other with a small heart in between?
Lets love purely, like the gentle rain sent down from heaven
I will hold your heart before i hold your body
And i will love you for everything you are
So let's take this slow
And go at our pace
