Chapter 13

Your POV

     I looked over at Kelsey, "You did what you needed to do, right?"
     She nodded, "Yup. We all know we can't get to Jubiland without him."
     Emily walked over to a bookcase, "Kelsey said that he should come to the Library of Legends to meet up with us ASAP!"
     I smiled, "Good."
     Suddenly, the bookshelf Emily was standing by began glowing. What seemed like a gateway opened up, and out flew a small pixie.
     "Waaah! Look out!" It cried as it collided with Emily's face.
     "Ow..." Emily grumbled as she lay on the floor from the impact.
     The rest of the girls and I smiled, "Pop!"
     The pixie got off of Emily and stood up, "Hello, Glitter Force. I came as quickly as I could. I grew very worried after Kelsey's call."
     "Huh? You called him?" April turned to the girl in confusion.
     Kelsey smiled in response, "Yup! I used the phone charm! Those little things are pretty useful!"
     Pop walked over to a large mushroom stool and stood on it, "We have no time to waste, we must get to Jubiland quickly to make the Elixir of Healing and get it to Candy as quickly as possible!"
     "Yeah, and another thing..." Kelsey stepped forward. "We also need to get y/n's Glitter Pact and destroy the Wheel of Doom. There's a lot of stuff we need to get done in the Shadow Realm, so after we heal Candy we're gonna have to go there."
     Pop nodded grimly, "Yes, I suppose you're right. You girls have managed to collect all the Glitter Charms. As long as we keep them safe, we'll be able to revive Queen Euphoria. It would be best to take out Emperor Nogo as quickly as we can."
     April clenched her fist in determination, "Alright then! Let's go! We've got some serious butt-kicking to do!"
     Pop nodded, "Alright everyone! We travel by storybook! Let's go!"
     Pop had brought a book with him that we could use to travel by. He opened it on the mushroom and jumped into it.
     We all looked at each other and nodded before jumping in after Pop. Right before I did though, I turned around and gave Ulric one last look of comfort.
     'It'll be ok,' my expression said.
     He nodded wearily, and I jumped in.
     The ride was very bumpy. None of us had ever traveled by book before, and when we eventually got out, we were all relieved to be on solid ground again.
     "Oh gosh... and I thought taking the bus was bad..." Kelsey said, regaining her balance.
     "You said it..." April replied.
     "Alright, Pop. What do we do?" Emily asked.
     "There are only three ingredients for the elixir: Sunlight, Water from the mermaids' river, and the Rainbow berry. We need to get those ingredients and mix them all together. It would be quicker if you split up to gather them. I myself will go and look for the proper bottle to keep it in. Although... it might take me some time to find it..." Pop explained.
     "I'll go and try to find some Sunlight! Although... I've got no clue where to find it..." Emily said.
     "I'll come with! I'd like to see how you get sunlight." Lily said.
     Pop nodded, "Take that path over there, you'll find some pixies who specialize in collecting it. You can get some from there."
     "Roger!" Emily said.
     "Kelsey and I will fetch the Water! Just point the way!" April said.
     "Follow that stream, it'll lead you to where you need to go. Don't worry, you'll see the mermaids once you walk far enough." Pop instructed.
     Kelsey and April nodded.
     "You said you needed help with the bottle, I'll bet it'll be easier if you had another pair of eyes with you." Chloe volunteered.
     Pop nodded, "I appreciate it. Y/n I'll leave you to find the Rainbow Berries. If you walk straight from here, you'll find the forest in which they grow."           
     I nodded.
     "Once you all get the ingredients, we'll all meet back here. Got it?" Pop said.
     We all said yes, and set out to get our assigned ingredient.
     I sighed, "Alright, straight from here. Let's get some Rainbow Berries! Can't be that hard, right?"
     I started walking, not noticing the frightened looks from the surrounding pixies.

Also, bare with me in the ingredients for the elixir. I tried to stay with the Glitter Force theme of all sunshiny rainbows and stuff like that, so I'm sorry if it sounds cringy. Also, if you're wondering how the Glitter Force got all the Charms, don't forget that the reader (Glitter Soul) is fairly new to the group, so the OG five girls already did most of the work.
