"ARE WE READY?" Valerie questioned, glancing around the group who prepared to play their roles. Clark, Jason, Luke, Shoe, and Kyla were to distract Campbell while the rest went to search his house. They had Helena and Miles being lookout just in case Campbell or Lexie came.

The group gathered near the donut shop, far away from Campbell's house so he wouldn't see them gathering.

Everyone nodded.

"Let's make this quick but clean, I don't need Campbell finding out and going crazy." Xavier muttered.

"There's more of us than him," Kyla raised an eyebrow, "I know he's crazy but I'm sure the whole lot of us can take him down."

"Yeah but half of the town supports him, we'll have to take on those dummies too."

Kyla sighed, "True.."

"What if Harry sees?" Miles asked, remembering about the guy that was with Lexie and Campbell. Kyla rolled her eyes at the mention of his name.

"The guy's too busy doing a line a coke to notice," Jason shrugged his shoulders, "But he won't do anything."

Valerie looked at Helena and Miles. "As we all know, Lexie has a big ass mouth, so if you guys can't tell us in time about her coming, just knock her out."

Kyla blinked. "No, they will not knock her out, that makes things ten times more suspicious."

"Just knock her out, don't listen to Ky."

"No, what, don't listen to Val, do not knock her out, just distract her if you have to."

"Just fucking smoke that bitch in the face, guys, yeah Hel?"

"Can you stop Val? No smoking her in the—"

Kyla was cut off by loud rustling in the bushes and rapid footsteps behind the donut shop. Everyone fell silent as they looked over to the forest, standing stiff.

The guys got ready to fight whatever was coming through those bushes until Shoe stood straight, noticing the source of the rustling first.

Everyone heard soft cries and whimpering, making them glance at each other with wide eyes.

"What is that?" Gordie whispered.

Kelly shook her head, taking a step back away from the bushes as she was one of the ones near it, "I don't know.."

Clark furrowed his eyebrows and slowly inched closer, his fists clenched tightly. Jason gave him a pat on his back to tell him that he was close behind him, while Grizz stood protectively in front of the others.

Valerie let out a loud gasp when she caught sight of the figure who stood in the forest, leaning against a tree. They were visible from the empty area. Hearts dropped and blood ran cold in everyone when they saw who it was.

There she was, eyes barely opened and her chest heaving heavily. Charlotte could barely stand straight and seemed barely conscious as she shook her head and leaned on the tree. She was covered in blood that came from her open wounds that were all over her body. She seemed like she was to pass out any moment, and she looked completely out of it.

Kyla grabbed onto Xavier's arm, frightened by the sight of their best friend as Helena let out a choked sob.

"Charlotte..?" Kelly was the first to speak, her voice quiet and cautious.

Charlotte was in hysteria. She shook her head repeatedly and was mumbling incoherently. Everyone was too shocked to move.

Jason and Luke glanced at each other and they slowly moved toward her.
