"BUT ARE WE SURPRISED THOUGH?" Kyla blurted out as Charlotte informed the rest of the Pentagon on what Sam told them last night. The next morning, since Grizz was on morning duty, and the Pentagon usually comes to visit Charlotte, the six were now standing outside with cups of hot beverages in their hands. Xavier was leaning against the wall, Miles and Valerie were standing in front of Grizz and Charlotte who were sitting on the front porch, and Kyla was sitting cross legged on the pavement.
Valerie immediately shook her head as Grizz raised an eyebrow at Kyla. Kyla raised her hands up, "Hey, you can't say you're not surprised when that crazy fucker Campbell, was a little bitch to his pet bird."
Grizz blinked and then nodded, having no argument with that.
Miles chuckled dryly, "I think Campbell being a psychopath isn't any new news, there is a reason why everyone is afraid of him."
"The way Sam was telling us last night sent shivers down my spine," Grizz muttered as he took a sip out of his coffee.
"You think he killed Cassandra?" Xavier questioned, blowing lightly on his coffee.
Valerie shrugged, "It's possible, he's crazy. If his family didn't have any guns in the first place, then where did he get his?"
"Char's crazy," Xavier pointed out, making Valerie send him a look.
"You know what I mean, he doesn't feel anything, he's just a walking body, no soul."
Miles sighed softly and looked at Charlotte who was staring at her hot chocolate. "Char, do you think Campbell killed Cassandra?"
Everyone turned their heads to Charlotte who furrowed her eyebrows, "I have no clue. He's a lunatic, yeah, but that's his cousin," Charlotte muttered.
"I think he was with Elle too," Kyla added.
Miles shook his head, "I'm asking if you think Campbell killed her because you and Campbell have a different kind of relationship with each other compared to others. You have this mutual respect for each other."
Charlotte stayed quiet for a moment. She stared at her hands with furrowed eyebrows as everyone watched her, waiting for her answer. Charlotte shook her head and looked up at everyone.
"I don't think he killed her."

Kyla hummed a song to herself as she walked down to the cafe, where Charlotte and Xavier were waiting for her. Valerie dismissed her and Miles to the invite since Valerie announced that she was going to teach Miles how to flirt.
Kyla was walking down the empty road, passing by a few others who were coming the opposite way. She noticed Harry ahead of her and he looked frantic.
Kyla and Harry were good friends, despite both of them being extremely stubborn, they got along fine. Out of the entire Pentagon, Harry was the closest with Kyla, since their parents were close friends ever since they were young.
Harry caught sight of Kyla and instantly rushed up to her. Kyla slightly moved back in surprise by the sudden closeness as Harry grabbed onto Kyla's arm.
"Woah, what the hell Harry?" Kyla exclaimed as Harry pulled her off the road and to the side, by the bushes. Kyla stared at him with wide eyes as he glanced around for anyone.
