"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HELENA?" Kyla raised an eyebrow at Luke's tone as he advanced toward her with furrowed eyebrows. Kyla's plan was to find Clark and she found him with Luke, Harry, and Campbell. It seemed like Xavier took Jason already.
"Hello to you too, quarterback."
"I'm serious, what did you say to her?"
Kyla did not like the attitude Luke was giving her. She crossed her arms, "I don't know, what do you think I said to her?"
"She won't tell me what Kelly's hiding. She never keeps things from me."
Kyla suddenly began to dig into the pockets of her sweatpants and hoodie, "Let me see if I can find it.."
"Find what?" Luke questioned, knitting his eyebrows together.
Kyla held out her hands to show that they were empty, "The fuck I'm supposed to give. I don't give a shit what goes on with you and your girlfriend."
Luke clenched his jaw, "You must've said something.. She wouldn't be acting like this."
"Acting like what, Luke?" Kyla snapped. "Her cousin is fucking missing and her boyfriend has been lying to her face, how else would she be acting?"
Luke opened his mouth to say something but Kyla continued. "Don't even try to act like you've done nothing wrong. You wanna get mad that Helena won't tell you something when you've been feeding her lies all this time? I don't know what you're trying to do but you're doing a shitty job at it and I suggest that you stop before you do something you can't take back and end up losing yourself like some people in this stupid town."
Harry clenched his jaw when Kyla didn't spare him a glance but he knew she meant him by her tone.
Kyla shook her head, "Anyway, I need to borrow Clark."
"For what?" Campbell asked. "Is this about Charlotte?"
Kyla nodded. "I'm going to find Max and I want Clark by my side," she paused, looking at Campbell, "I hope you do know that I'm telling you this and not asking for your permission."
Campbell chuckled but waved his hand. "Take him. As much as I dislike you, Kyla, I would like to find Charlotte as well."
Kyla took no offence to Campbell as she hated him but she raised an eyebrow. "Do you actually care for Char or do you miss some competition?"
Campbell snorted, placing a hand over his chest. "It hurts that you would think of me like that, and though I do love some competition, I do care for her. I appreciate the respect we have for each other, she's probably the only one to actually respect me in this town."
Kyla slowly nodded, "She probably is.." she looked at Clark, "Let's go."

"You have to believe me when I say I didn't do it."
Valerie nodded, placing a hand on Elle's arm. Elle looked nervous and panicked as she tried to defend herself.
"I do believe you and I know you didn't do it, despite what happened at Thanksgiving.."
Valerie had came to Campbell's house, knowing Elle would be there. Elle was indeed there and she seemed relieved to see her friend standing on the front porch. Valerie had informed Elle about what had happened recently but Elle already knew.
Apparently Campbell had told her right away that night they found out that Charlotte was missing. Elle explained how he seemed upset that the girl was missing. He considered Charlotte 'a friend', which was a surprise to both Elle and Valerie.
