Allison was in the middle of decorating the breath taking venue in Pennsylvania where her best friend had chosen to be wed. She was in the court yard putting up chairs, decorating the archway, setting up center pieces after the facilities team set up what they needed to. It made her emotional and extremely happy to see her best friend so giddy. Of course all the bridesmaids were happy and active as the men sat around hanging up something here and there.

"You're doing a great job hunny!" Joe yelled, holding up his ice tea as the rest of the guys raised their glasses. Bessy rolled her eyes and handed Alli the flowers to tie around the archway.
"Yeah, baby, it's looking good!" Brian raised his glass to his girlfriend who gave him a certain look then flipped him off. They all laughed and turn back to each other for  conversation. Brian didn't necessarily lose sight of his woman either - he loved to watch her do her own things so gracefully and happily. Her smile lit his world up when it was reaching another dark point.

"So how's the kid?" Sal asked, nudging Brian's arm.
"Her name is Paige, and she's great. She tells me she loves me all the time."
"And that's not weird or uncomfortable to you?" Joe asked. Brian shook his head and Joe grabbed his chest like he was faking a heart attack. "Murray's getting married. Brian likes kids. What's next, Sal saying things are serious with his girlfriend?"

Sal smiled and looked down at his shoes. Truth was, he was extremely happy with their relationship and adored the woman Allison brought into his life. He was her plus one at the wedding, though it was small due to covid.
"Okay but what about Murray. Do you have cold feet yet?" Brian asked, feeling the alcohol content rising inside of him. He didn't want to get too day drunk - they had a quite the afternoon ahead of them, along with rehearsals and a small dinner before they split their ways until the next morning.
"Are you kidding me? A beautiful, funny, intelligent 25 year old woman wants me - she's not even blind. You'd be insane if you thought I was letting this one go!"

"I hear ya," Brian added before sipping his drink. He couldn't keep his eyes off Allison. She had even taken it so well that after the travel ban is up, they'll be filming out of the country.
"What about you Q? Are you changing your mind about a ring?" Brian opened his mouth to speak but then closed it again. He didn't want to think that far ahead, but he also didn't want to jinx whatever it was he had.
"Part of me, but I won't go into detail cause you can't keep your mouth shut to your wife," Brian joked, aiming an accusing finger at Murray. Murray lifted up his hands in defense and went on about how it's bro's before hoes.

Allison was taking a much needed break from decorating - the September sun was killing her today. She hydrated herself with water instead of alcohol for once, the opposite of the boys across the spacious back yard.

"So how's your sister adapting to being a mom?" Melyssa asked Alli as they headed inside for a refreshing drink. Alli smiled at the idea of her little sister being overwhelmed with the love of her child.
"She's doing amazing! She's the last person I ever thought would be so great in parenthood."
"That's what everyone says about Brian!"
