Mifuyu was aware that he wasn't that young to have forgotten Satoru and Yugen, he was confused at how he was able to forget so many days of his life in just an instant. It was like someone sealed away his memories, locking them in the most deepest part of his mind, taking away together the bittersweet feeling. But for some reason, his memories started to came back to him while dreaming as little fragments in the form of dreams.

The last person Mifuyu remembered seeing before he started to forget those memories was Yugen, he was the last person he saw before his memories of everything that happened between Satoru and him started to fade away.

Just like it had been yesterday, Mifuyu remembered Yugen approaching him again, but this time because he couldn't stand seeing the sad expression that covered his face. Mifuyu rarely left his house after he refused to go back to visit his grandmother, only going to school.

Yugen wanting to speak with him, entered his house without any difficulty, as he decided to wait for him inside of his room. He was sitting on the window's nook when Mifuyu entered his room, not expecting at all to see the blue butterfly inside of his room.

"I had grown tired of waiting for you." Yugen said as soon as Mifuyu stepped inside of his room.

Mifuyu dropped his school bag, rubbing his eyes to make sure his mind wasn't playing tricks on him. "You are really here," he said with a little smile.

Yugen was hurt that his presence wasn't enough to make Hifumi's grandson happy. "It's been maybe a year since the last time we spoke?" He asked, not really sure. "Or maybe almost two? Either way, after that human left, you haven't been the same kid."

Mifuyu only hummed in response.

"Does that human kid really deserves your sadness after what he did to you?" The blue butterfly asked, bitterly. "He had left you without caring at all about your feelings."

Mifuyu didn't know what to say, he was aware that the blue butterfly was concerned about his well-being and that's why he had came to visit him. Still, he couldn't help but wonder why this man had been watching over him since he was a little kid. At first he thought he was his guardian angel, but now he didn't know what to think anymore.

The creature of the hollow eyes hadn't appeared again since the day he spoke with the blue butterfly, so he was grateful for that. However, the words of Satoru telling him to not trust any of those curses made him be aware of the blue butterfly.

Was the blue butterfly really a curse?

Yugen knew what Mifuyu was thinking, so now he disliked Satoru even more for making the grandson of Hifumi to start to be aware of him.

"You shouldn't trust in the words of a kid that doesn't know anything about me," the blue butterfly said, trying not show his disliking towards Satoru in his voice. "I been by your side since you were born, so I'll be here until your last breath. I will not leave you like that kid did, nor will I hurt your feelings in anyway."

Yugen got up from the window's nook, going towards Mifuyu, who had been silent all this time. "But I hope one day, you will forgive me for the actions I'm going to take. You should know that, I don't wish to hurt you in anyway, but for the wish I granted to the red butterfly a long, long time ago, I can't escape from her circle of hatred. The next time we see each other will be in four years. So, I'm sorry, Mifuyu."

Mifuyu didn't understand what the blue butterfly was saying. "I don't--" he was unable to finish his words by the sudden embrace of Yugen, now he was even more confused than ever.

"If those memories are causing you so much pain, then, let me take away all the sadness you're feeling right now. Let them be a distant memory locked inside your mind."
