The Returning War (A Songs of War fanfic)

Part 1: Chapter 8

He slouched in the Nether throne, the Nether crown perched on his head at an odd angle. She approached him angrily

"I warned you Reaper, I warned you to keep out of others business; but as usual, you didn't listen" she purred angrily

"You know well that the three dimensions are rightfully mine" he hissed back

"Release them and restore their rightful rulers"

"The Enderqueen is dead or dying; and that pathetic coward who called himself a Nether King freely gave me his dimension"

"How long did you torture him?"

"Four days"

"Poor guy, how does he fare?"

"He is alive, but beyond that I will refrain from saying"

She sighed "You realize that you didn't have to torture Vulcannus to become the Nether King"

"But then I would be a false king"

"Are you going to take The Overworld next?"

"No, I have a personal score to settle first"

"Who ticked you off this time? Me?"

"Not this time my dear"

"Then who?"

"That girl"

"Which girl?"

"The one who is responsible for my lack of the Enderqueen"

"Tell me more about her"

He laughed "So you can stop me? No, find out yourself"

"Fine, but tell me; what do you plan on doing to her once you get her?"

"If I tell you, you will try to stop me even more"

"Will!" Shouted Sparks as she sprinted down the long hall towards her freind

"Sparks what are you doing here?" Asked Will

"You're an Enderknight!"

"Yeah, until Queen Abbi decides to fire me"

"I don't think she is in any position to"

"You know what happened to her?!"

"Well duh, why else would I say that?"

"So you know what transpired in The End?"

"Only what Abbi told us"

"Us? I don't think Ack has the mental capacity to understand most things"

"No, me and...Vulcannus"

"And what pray tell were you doing with Vulcannus?"

"He gave me a box; he said it was from Them. In the box was Enderknight Armor and a dragon egg"

"Do you believe him?"

"No"

"Good, now what happened to Queen Abbi?"

"She said a scary cloaked dude came into her fortress and knocked her unconscious; then she went to The Nether"

"Where is she now?"

"Crowns Peak"

"You left her there all by herself?"

"Yup"

"How compassionate of you"

"So what really happened?"

"Just what she said; after the 'Scary Cloaked Guy' appeared a few Endermen teleported us here"

Decon winced as he lifted his head off the hard stone floor, his vision was blurred and a sharp pain plagued his chest and right arm. 

"Oh good, you are not dead" said a voice from a corner

Decon sat up gingerly "Wh...who are you?"

"Somebody, or nobody take your pick"

"Where are we?"

"Someplace"

A blurry figure entered Decon's field of vision, the figure was extremely dark but emitted a reddish glow

"Whe...wait! What do you mean I'm not dead?"

"You were unconscious for at least four days"

"Ouch, where are we again?"

"I never said, nor will I"

"Why? Am I a captive and if I know where I am it might help me escape?"

"Yes"

Decon facepalmed "I didn't mean that literally...does that make you my captor?"

"If I were your captor why would I care if you are alive?"

"Dunno, probably to torture me until I tell you the location of The Prime Songs"

"You know the location of The Prime Songs?!"

"No, of course not silly"

"Then why di..."

"Can I not joke around?"

"Not when you are captured by a cruel evil creature who will have no problem ripping you to pieces if you disobey even one thing he says!"

"Cool"

"I am sorry did you not hear me?! This guy is dangerous!"

"Sounds great...wait does this kindhearted individual happen to weild a glowing whip?"

 "Yes"

Decon shivered "do you know his name?"

"No, why do you want to know?"

"Just put a name to a face. So what's your name?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because I do, and plus if you aren't my captor you must be my inmate. So I want to know your name"

"No"

"Fine mister grumpy; when's lunch I'm starved"
