Benjamin was laying in his bed. It was currently two in the morning and he has his phone in his hands. He was tapping the side of his phone with his pointer finger.

He had his and Noah's conversation open, trying to decide if he wanted to reach out or not. He sighs and taps the text box, sending a text.

remember me?

He sets his phone down on his stomach, feeling regret. He feels his face getting hot until he feels it buzz against his skin.

He lifts the phone back up and sees a response.

nah. do you?

Benjamin puts on a cropped tank top, with some Mom shorts. He pairs this with some ankle socks and his Air Force Ones. He'd become a lot more comfortable in his own style.

He grabs a flannel off the ground from where he was digging through his luggage, also throwing that on.

He grabs his bag off the floor as well before walking out of his room. He walks into the kitchen, seeing a note on the fridge.

didn't wanna wake ya. have a meeting to run to! love u -gabs

He grabs it off the fridge, balling it up and throwing it in the trash. He opens the fridge and sees sparkling water and canned coffees.

Seriously, who has Gabi turned into?

He pushes all of that aside and grabs a water bottle. He shuts the fridge and grabs his key off the key rack before making it out to his car.

Benjamin was sitting with his mom in his childhood house. "Hmm. I think you should go with the silver. More classy."

Olivia nods and sets the silver dangling earrings down next to her. "You're right."

Benjamin smiles. "So...You're going out to drinks with who?"

"Friends from work and my sister is coming down, she'll be here in a few hours. What about you? What're your plans?"

Benjamin shrugs, "Uh-Oh...Nothing just gonna meet up with some old friends, probably."

"Ooh. Tell them about all your great achievements? Remind me, where do you work? I wanna brag to all of my friends."

Benjamin blushes as he hasn't mentioned to his mom about his job or Markus. "Oh...Uh-mom, you don't have to do that."

"Yes, I do-."

Zach walks into the kitchen, smiling. "Good news. The caterer called back, everything is okay. Hey, Benny. How's that speech going?"

Benjamin looks over at him and smiles. "Good! Mhm, it's going great, I can't wait for you guys to hear but...I'm gonna be late to meet someone so I'll see you guys later, okay? Love you guys."

Benjamin hops down from the barstool before rushing out of the kitchen.

Zach looks over at Olivia, furrowing his brows. "Is he being-."

"Weird?"

"Yeah? Baby, you can tell me the truth if he doesn't want us getting married. I'd never wanna get in the way of you two."

"Zach, I've told you. He's okay with you. He loves you like a father. It's something else. I can tell."

Benjamin was sitting at a cafe, a coffee in front of him, though he'd yet to take a sip. He was sitting, slouched over, a bad habit he'd picked up. His leg was tapping up and down.

"Hey, stranger."

Benjamin looks up to see Noah. He was dressed in a hoodie and some basketball shorts. One of his legs was in a knee brace, while the other had a big scar that was healing from his surgery.
