Tyler's medication seemed to be working good so far. He only really has any hallucinations right before he has to take his meds and even then they're minor. As the days past he got better and better.

However school was stressful. He had final exams coming up soon. He and Josh spent the weekends together studying and maybe some kissing. He felt happier, less worried over his birth parents.

The medication did have side effects though, including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, restlessness and more but those were the main ones Tyler experienced. The nausea affected his eating habits, the dizziness affected his day to day life, like walking or getting up to fast. The drowsiness had him constantly tired and the restlessness keeped him up at night and made it hard to sit still.

Sam and Jackie were very understanding about it as was Josh. Tyler didnt really like taking the medication but he took it anyway. Josh and his parents moved closer to Tyler and his moms and Josh transferred schools. Josh spent most days at Tyler's when they werent in school and if they werent at Tyler's they were at Josh's.

Currently they were sitting on Tyler's couch watching tv. Tyler had fallen asleep leaning on Josh's shoulder and Josh was just scrolling around on his phone. Josh looked over at the door when it opened, smiling at jackie and sam as they got home.

"Hey guys." Sam said. "Hey." Josh replied. "Is tyler asleep?" Jackie asked. "Yeah hes been out for a little while now." Josh replied. Jackie hummed. "Well that's good he needs it." She said. Josh nodded in agreement.

Tyler slept for another little while before he woke up. He sat up and stretched. "Hey sleepyhead." Josh said. Tyler smiled tiredly at him. "Something smells good" tyler said, turning to look into the kitchen where his moms were making supper.

"Think you're gonna be able to eat tonight?" Sam asked. "I hope so it smells so good and I'm so hungry." Tyler said. "Well that's good." Sam said with a smile. Tyler nodded moving to kiss Josh's cheek.

Josh smiled. "Are you staying tonight?" Tyler asked. "If it's okay with your moms." Josh replied. "Okay course it is Josh. You're welcome here anytime." Jackie said. "Thank you." Josh said. Jackie smiled at him.

"Alright boys go wash up for supper." Sam said. Tyler and josh got up and headed to the bathroom to wash their hands then sat at the table to eat. Tyler got about half way through his meal before he stopped eating.

He slowly chewed the last bite he took, debating on whether or not he was gonna swallow it. Sam watched him carefully. "You okay sweetheart?" She asked. Tyler looked at her. "Nauseous?" She asked. Tyler nodded and reached for his napkin, spitting out the food in his mouth.

"I'm sorry mom." He said. "Its okay hunny." She said. "I promise it's really good I just-" tyler pursed his lips. "I know hunny it's okay." She smiled softly. "I-.. I need to step away is that okay?" He asked she nodded. "Of course." She said. He nodded and stood up, heading to the bathroom.

He sat in front of the toilet for a while completely sure that he was gonna throw up but he never did. He sighed and stood up. He washed his hands before leaving the bathroom. Josh and his moms sat on the couch now watching TV.

"You okay?" Josh asked. He nodded and walked over, crawling into Josh's lap and burying his face in Josh's neck. "tyler dont forget tomorrow me and your mom gotta leave early in the morning for an appointment." Jackie said.

"Do you have to go?" Tyler asked. "Yes hunny. You'll be okay. Josh will be here." She replied. Tyler nodded. "Can we go to bed early? I'm still tired." He said. "Yeah we can. I'm tired too." Josh said, carefully standing up and carrying Tyler. "Goodnight boys." Sam said. "Goodnight." Tyler and Josh replied in unison.

Josh gently kicked the door to Tyler's room shut and set Tyler on the bed. Tyler grabbed the tv remote and turned it on, finding a movie to put on while Josh climbed into bed beside him. Tyler always slept with th tv on now. He finds when theres some type of light source and quiet sound it helps prevent nightmares.

He cuddled up with Josh and sighed softly. Josh rubbed his back gently. "I love you." Tyler whispered. "I love you too." Josh replied. Tyler moved to give Josh a quick kiss before laying his head on Josh's chest and shutting his eyes. "Goodnight." He whispered. "Goodnight." Josh replied as he settled to sleep himself.
