The next day Josh was doing better and actually went outside with Tyler. They played for a bit outside before it started to rain. Tyler invited Josh inside his house and they were playing hide and seek.

Josh was hiding in Tyler's cabinet, knees to his chest as he tried to stay as still as possible so he wouldn't make any noise and give himself away. Tyler was about to open the cabinet door when his father stomped in and grabbed him, throwing him against the bed.

Josh watched through a tiny crack, his heart rate increasing drastically and his lungs threatening to give out. He held his hand over his mouth hoping no sobs would escape. Josh was shaking as he watched Tyler get bent over his bed and abused.

Tyler was crying, begging for his father to stop but the man ignored his pleas, forcing himself into the crying boy and using him. Josh was terrified, he couldn't breathe, he was suffocating.

The walls of the cabinet confining him and getting closer. The force of panic weighing in his chest made him think he was gonna die, worsening the effects. Every thought he had made him panic more.

He was scared he was gonna be next, he was scared Tyler's father would find him and treat him the same way. He was scared that the man was gonna hurt him, scared that Tyler would be dead by the time the man finished, scared that he was gonna die because it felt like he was, scared that he wasn't with his parents, he wanted his parents so badly.

When the man finished he buttoned his pants and went to leave, Josh took one look at Tyler's unmoving frame and couldn't hold back anymore, letting a loud sob shake through his core. The man stopped and turned towards the cabinet, walking over.

Josh eyes widened, the panic attack he was enduring was already the worst he's ever experienced and that had multiplied by a hundred once he was caught. When the door opened he tries to scoot further back into the cabinet but only got the hard wood of it digging into his shoulder blades.

The man stared at him in something close to shock. He forced himself to move and run. He ran as fast as he possibly could out of Tyler's room. His socked feet slidding on the floor as he turned to run down the stairs. He tripped close to the bottom, missing a whole three steps before landing in his hands and knees harshly.

He let out another loud sob but pushed himself up. Tyler's mother walked out of the living room at the loud thud. Josh didn't bother putting his shoes on, fumbling  to open the front door. Once he had he ran out In to the pouring rain, down Tyler's steps and across the yard to his own.

He quickly ran up his steps and into his house. The door slammed harshly against the wall and was left open as Josh ran in search of his parents. He ran to the kitchen and found no one, ran down the hall past his father's office and to the living room which was also empty, so was the dinning room. He slipped from his wet socks a total of seven times as he searched the house.

He turned to go run up stairs and seen his father slowly, cautiously walking down the hall. He ran full speed at him, almost knocking him over as he jumped on him. "What's wrong? What happened? What happened?" His father asked, quickly picking him up.

Josh heart was thudding so loud in his ears he couldn't even hear himself cry, let alone hear what his father was saying. His lungs were burning like they had just exploded and didn't exist anymore. He couldn't get enough air in and he felt like passing out.

His stomach was having a party, doing flips and summersaults, he felt like throwing up. His eyes felt like he had gotten chemicals in them and couldnt wash them out. His heart was pumping too much blood making his veins feel like they were gonna burst any second. His head throbbed with pain like some one was bashing him with a hammer.

His mother was down the stairs quickly, running over to help. The two parents couldn't get their child to calm down. They tried talking to him, holding him, rocking him, rubbing his back, but it wasn't working. When not even the medication could calm the sobbing boy they quickly decided to head to the hospital.

The ran out into the rain, Joshs father set him in the backseat and buckled him, making him cry louder as the door was shut. He tried to unbuckle and get out but his mother was crawling in the other door and holding him tightly as his father drove.

Tyler watched the scene unfold from his front step, his own tears soaking his cheeks. He held bon bon close to his chest as he watched the car pulled out of the driveway. He made eye contact with Josh and watched as he sobbed hard, shutting his eyes and turning into his mother's chest.
