After Tyler's pool party he and Josh started hanging out more and more and each time they hung out they snuck in little kisses just tiny innocent pecks. Everything was going really good for a while but then it stopped.

Josh's anxiety started getting bad, really bad, worse then it's ever been and he wouldnt do anything. He barely left the house unless it was for school but even then he was coming home early almost every day from having a panic attack. He and Tyler stopped hanging out because whenever Tyler asked Josh if he wanted to Josh said no, too anxious to say yes.

Tyler was really sad about it. He didnt know if it was because he did something wrong or what. Josh wouldnt talk to him, wouldnt tell him what was wrong and Tyler felt so upset. They're twelve now and they havent hung out in months.

Tyler called Josh's house again today and his mom answered as she did most times. "Hello?" She answered. "Hi momma Dun is Josh there?" He asked anxiously chewing his lip. "He is but I dont know if he'll talk right now." She sighed. "..can you ask him?" Tyler asked. "Of course hunny." She replied.

She headed into Josh's room where he was curled up in a ball hugging his knees after having a bad panic attack over nothing. "Josh sweetheart Tyler's on the phone... do you want to talk to him?" She asked. Josh looked up at her, his eyes glossy with tears as he shook his head. She sighed again and nodded.

"Sorry tyler he said no." She said. Tears welled in Tyler's eyes too. "Okay thank you." He whispered. "You're welcome." She said before Tyler hung up. He stared at the phone as he let his tears slip down his cheeks. He sighed heavily and sat the phone on the nightstand after a minute,  laying down and curling into a ball on his bed.

He grabbed bon bon and hugged him tightly as he cried softly. He stayed there like that until jackie came to get him for supper. She had knocked on the door before opening it and stepping in. "Suppers ready, go wash up and come eat." She said.

She frowned when she heard Tyler's sniffles and shaky breaths. "Hey what's the matter?" She asked, walking over and sitting on the edge of the bed to rub his back. He pushed himself up and hugged her, crying into her shoulder softly. She hugged him back, trying to soothe him, though she didnt know what was wrong.

"Sam!" She called out. "Yes?" Sam hollered back from the kitchen. "Come here please!" Jackie yelled. Sam was in the room quickly, frowning when she seen Tyler's state. "Hunny what's wrong?" She asked, moving to kneel in front of him.

"Josh doesnt want to talk to me anymore." He sobbed. Sam and Jackie looked at each other. "Why not?" Sam asked. "I dont know." Tyler croaked. Sam sighed softly. "Why dont you come eat then we can watch a movie together hm?" She asked. tyler nodded, rubbing his eye with his fist.
He stood up, letting sam and Jackie kiss his forehead before following them to the kitchen.

Days, weeks and months pass without a single word from Josh. Sam and Jackie knew it was effecting tyler greatly, it showed in the way he was acting. He was quiet and spent a lot of time in his room, he didnt smile that much anymore either.

One evening Tyler was in his room sitting on his bed with bon bon in his lap. "I really miss him... I dont know what I did to upset him... I wanna talk to him so bad. I wanna see him bon bon... I wanna hug him." Tyler spoke to his toy. Still after all this time bon bon was his favorite toy.

As he was talking to the stuffed bunny the phone rang. His head perked up and he quickly ran out of his room to the living room where his moms were watching the news. "Is it Josh?" He asked. Sam picked up the phone. Smiling softly before handing the pine to Tyler. Tyler quickly took it and ran back to his room. "Hello?" He asked. "Hey..." josh whispered softly.

"Josh." Tyler croaked. "I'm sorry for not talking to you." Josh said. "I missed you." Tyler replied. "I missed you too... so much." Josh spoke. They talked on the phone for a while and Josh explained that it wasnt Tyler's fault and then asked Tyler to sleepover tonight.

Tyler quickly ran out to ask his moms if it was okay and when they agreed he smiled excitedly and hugged them before going to pack his bag and telling Josh hed be there shortly.

When he got there he quickly attached himself to Josh in a hug, tears in his eyes. "I missed you" he whispered. "I missed you too." Josh replied. "Dont do that to me." Tyler said. "I'm sorry." Josh said as they pulled back. Tyler studied josh for a second, taking in how tired the older boy looked before hugging him again, burying his face in Josh's chest.
