Victoria
We landed in San Francisco near noon. We were all taking a nap and the sound of the pilot's voice informing us that we were about to land, woke us all up. The plane landed at the airport's runaway, and we all walked out of the plane, dragging our suitcases and our bags with us. There were two airport security guys waiting outside and our pilot Mitchell, followed us out and started talking to the two guys.
"What's the time?" Zara asked while glancing around the almost deserted runway.
I quickly do the math in my head. Since we left around ten past nine from Chicago, the time difference here is like two hours behind. It only takes four hours and two minutes to get to San Francisco from Chicago Illinois, so the time here should be around eleven something in the morning right now. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket to check, and I was right when I saw the time displayed on my phone screen.
"It's 11: 15 am right now." I replied back. Zara groaned loudly.
"Miss Michaelson?" A voice said from the back and I turned around and saw that it was just Mitchell.
"Oh hey Mitch, what's up?" He smiled at me before talking.
"The jets taking a refuel, you'll contact me when you're ready to leave again right?" I nodded.
"Of course I will. Just take some time off and we'll just call you when we're ready to go again alright?" He quickly nods his head.
"Alright thanks Mitch." He walks away while the two airport security guys walked along his side, heading inside the big airport.
"Car's here." Leah called out.
A black Range Rover pulled up in front of us and the driver that I recognized that works for my dad's security team, stepped out of the vehicle and helped us load the trunk with our luggage. After that, we all get into the car and the driver started driving us to our destination, although I have yet to tell him where.
"Hey, um excuse me?" He glanced at me through the rearview mirror.
"Yes miss Michaelson?"
"Your name please?"
"Oh, it's Trevor. I'll be escorting you around whenever you needed a ride. But if you want to go by yourselves, this car is all yours. Your father's orders."
Zara blew out a sigh of relief.
"Well that's great. I don't think we need a chauffer and besides, we all know how to drive thank you very much." I shot her look.
"Zara!" She smiled sheepishly at me.
"What? Trevor won't mind right?" She leaned forward and tapped the guy on the shoulder. He chuckled and than nod his head.
"Completely understand. So, where will you all be staying miss Michaelson?"
"At Imogen hotel." He focused on the road again while the three of us watched outside the window as many places and people went passed.
The weather in Chicago was warm and sunny, and it fits the type of mood that we're all having right now. Perfect as it is. I've been here in San Francisco a few times but I've never explore the city like a tourist or do anything that people do on vacation here. The excitement for this summer vacation cannot even be put into words.
A few minutes later, the car pulled up front at Imogen hotel and we all piled out of the vehicle one by one while Trevor was already unpacking the trunk. Two hotel workers came out and greeted us, than they helped us carry our bags and suitcases inside.
"Here you go miss Michaelson." Trevor dropped the keys in my hand and I smiled appreciatively at him.
"Please from now on, call me tori." He smiled at me one more time before walking away.
I turned around and walked inside, heading straight towards the front desk. There was a pretty brunette behind the desk and she's the receptionist. She looked up just in time and I flashed her a smile.
"Hi, I'm Victoria Michaelson." She smiled back at me.
"Hi, do you have room reservations or-"
"Ah yes, room reservation, under my name." She looked at the computer in front of her and typed a few keys before smiling at me again.
"Yes, miss Michaelson. You're on the fifth floor, junior suite, room 105." She placed a key card on top of the counter, along with a big notebook.
I quickly signed a few requirements and than grabbed the golden key card, said thank you to the receptionist before walking back to where Zara and Leah were aimlessly standing.
"Alright ladies, let's go." I happily announced.
"Finally, my legs are starting to get numb from all that stupid jet lag and standing around." Zara said, causing me to roll my eyes behind her back when she started heading towards the elevator ahead of us.
We got into the elevator, pressed the fifth floor button and than waited patiently inside while the elevator takes us up. When the double doors finally opened, we quickly walked out and than walked down the dimly lit hallway that has a rich exterior with cool big windows that we can see the Golden gate bridge from afar. When i finally spotted room 105, I pressed the card in the scanner and heard the beep before opening the white double doors and walking in.
The room was enormous, with three queen sized beds lined along one side. There was a big floor to ceiling window from across the room making the sun to lightly filter the room in a golden haze, another room leads to the walk in bathrooms and another one leads to the dining area that had one round table for three with a small refrigerator, and a few cabinets.
"Wow." Zara and Leah said in unison and than started chuckling at each other.
I dragged my suitcases in and than placed them beside the bed in the middle while Leah took the one on my left and Zara on my right. I sat down on the bouncy smooth mattress and sighed.
"We're finally here!" I quickly lay back and spread my arms beside me, finding comfort already with the white cool bed sheets and the fluffy pillows. The plane ride was exhausting but I can't complain now. We're finally starting our summer vacation here in San Francisco, and the fun has just begun.
"What's on the top of our summer vacation bucket list tori?" Leah asked and I turned my face to the side to glance at her and than I sat up and pulled out the small notebook from my handbag that was lying next to my suitcase on the floor. I have a habit of taking down small notes and stuffs and because of that, I've been preparing our bucket list for this vacation starting from the day we came up with this summer vacation idea.
"Let's see." I flipped open the notebook and flipped right to the page that I had been busy scribbling down some fun things to do once we get to travel to all the places we've always wanted to go to.
"First up, dinner at china town. How does that sound to you guys?" They grinned at me.
"Sounds awesome! I haven't had sushi for ages." Leah exclaimed while Zara nodded in agreement.
I shut the notebook and stood up from the bed.
"Alright then, let's unpack and than get ready later." They stood up as well but before I could even turn around, they both wrapped their arms around me.
"Best summer ever!" They yelled in my ear and i laughed. Than, we started jumping around the room together like crazy teenagers high on drugs.
God, I love this two crazy bitches.
