Victoria

We didn't do much the next day, mostly just lounging around with our phones and eating the food that Alan and Steve brought for us in our bedrooms. Since they did that first to Zara and Leah, I thought that Jace would show up too, but I was a little disappointed when he didn't. I guess he was really taking it seriously about the part where we should start keeping our distance from now on. Tomorrow we're leaving and things will probably go back to how it used to around here.

I was in the middle of packing when someone knocked on my bedroom door and I literally jogged towards the door to open it, with a little hope that it was Jace. But again, it wasn't him but Alan.

"Hey, what's up?" He flashed me a big smile.

"Just wanted to come over and tell you, that we've decided to throw a small farewell party for you guys tonight. We don't want you guys to leave tomorrow with bad memories, so what do you think?"

Well this is a surprise. I didn't know this guys could also be so thoughtful sometimes too.

"Yeah sure, great idea. Wait, is it just gonna be us six?" He shot me a disbelief look.

"Really? I just said a party Victoria, obviously there's going to be other people here tonight and we don't throw parties with only six guests to attend. We invite the whole world!" He started to chuckle and i joined along.

"Jokes, I'm kidding." He added later.

"Oh, okay then who else is going to be here?" He folded his arms across his chest and pretended to think.

"Let's see......everyone! The whole gang is going to be here."

The whole gang?! This is crazy, we haven't even met everyone and suddenly they're all coming to this farewell party? Well.....shit.

"Okay, thanks for telling me Alan. See ya!" I closed the door right in front of him and leaned my back on it.

Now I have to look for what I'm gonna goddamn wear!

OoO

Around six in the evening, the girls and I all decided to get ready in my room before we all joined the party that's starting downstairs. A lot of cars are parked right outside the driveway and voices are starting to pick up from downstairs. We all helped each other choose our outfits, Zara decided to go all badass looking with the black leather jacket, the cropped halter top, the shorts and plus, the knee high heeled boots. While Leah on the other hand, wanted to wear something simple like denim jeans, cute top and the football varsity jacket that she got as a gift from one of the football players back in high school, cos she was a cheerleader back then and obviously has a lot of secret admirers from the football team.

I decided to wear a cute black mini dress and paired it off with a cute pair of high heeled boots. I slipped on a cute red jacket as well before putting on my earrings and looking at my outfit on the mirror one more time.

"Hey Tori, can i talk to you for a sec?" Zara yelled from the bathroom. Leah and I glanced at each other in confusion before I walked to the bathroom and found her putting on her lipstick using the bathroom mirror.

"What?" She glanced at me in the mirror and pursed her lips together.

"I know it's none of my business but I think you should know this."

"Okay, what is it then?" She turned around to face me while putting out her arms  beside her on top of the counter.

"I um, overheard JB talking on the phone earlier. He seems to be talking to a guy I guess, and he was telling him, about someone he had met a few weeks ago and he thinks that he's starting to fall for her. He was going on and on about how he feels for this girl but he's not gonna tell her because......she's leaving soon."

Her eyes met mine and I quickly looked to the side while folding my arms across my chest.

"You don't think......he's talking about you right?" A dry chuckle escaped my lips before I looked back at her.

"No, he can't be......in love with me. Maybe you heard it wrong Zara. I don't believe it." She stood up straight and took a step towards me.

"Tori I'm not lying, I really heard him say that and i think he was talking about you." I shook my head and turned around and walked back inside the room.

"I don't care anymore Zara so just drop it. We're leaving tomorrow and I don't wanna think about something like this that could be holding me back. We've decided to end things between us and that's it. Period."

"What's going on?" Leah asked, clueless to what's going on.

"Now can we just go downstairs and enjoy the farewell party they kindly threw for us and think about finally going back home tomorrow morning?"

I grabbed my phone and walked out of the room, closing the door slowly behind me. I leaned my back on the wall and blinked back the tears that are pricking my eyes. Gosh, now it's not the time to cry and ruin my makeup, one more night and we're out of here for good.

As i made my way downstairs, my mind kept replaying back to what Zara had told me. I'm deeply confused, why is this happening to me now right when we're about to leave tomorrow? He seriously can't be feeling that way for me right? I mean we've only known each other for a couple of weeks and he's already in love with me?

What about you? Do you feel the same way?

I shook my head furiously. I don't even know how I feel about this, I wanna be happy about it but then I'm devastated again because we're leaving and I wanna talk to him so badly, but I know I shouldn't  because whatever was happening between us is now gone.

Is it?

I moved that thought right to the back of my mind before descending the staircase with a surprise look when I saw the amount of people in the house. It was jammed packed and a loud song was playing and some were dancing and drinking nearby. I couldn't really see Alan or even Steve anywhere.

Someone bumped me while on his way up and I looked back to see the guy and was surprised when I saw that it was him. His eyes were a bit dilated and he was swaying a little. He kept staring down at me while i was doing the same. He flashed me a lopsided smile.

"Enjoy your party, and hope you enjoy it while it last!" He took a careless step back and almost stumbled and I had a strong urge to help him.

Zara and Leah walked past him and stood by my side while grabbing my arm.

"Have fun!" He yelled down at us and then started to crawl his way up the stairs leaving us to stare after him with confusion.

"Is he drunk?" Zara asked, loudly.

"Seems that way." I pulled my arm away and started to shove my way in through the crowd hoping to get a drink and hopefully that I won't remember that I saw him tonight while behaving like that.

Even when everyone was dancing and laughing and having fun, I wasn't enjoying myself. My mind was clouded with the thought of what Zara had told me earlier and I kept seeing the drunk look on his face in my head. Even if i couldn't remove these thought from my head, than hopefully I forget them tomorrow and won't remember it again.
