"Zara! Hurry up and get out of the damn car!" Leah and I were already standing outside the car while Zara was still sitting inside the damn vehicle taking her sweet time looking for something that she must've dropped inside the car.

We were already in china town, surrounded by all kinds of noises, and people (who majority of them are Asians) and stalls of Chinese food and things, cute red lanterns hanging from one street end to another. This, was china town. It took about an hour just to get here from our hotel, and I was starting to get impatient while waiting for Zara to come out of the damn car because all I can think about, is how much I wanted to eat sushi and some dumplings right now.

"I'm coming! I'm coming! Just give me a damn minute.....to look.....for that stupid thing!" She yelled back from the car.

I scoffed and turned around to face Leah instead.

"What the hell is she looking for anyway?" She looked back at me and shrugged.

"Who knows. Here, selfie!" She held up her phone and I leaned in to her side and smiled at the camera. She quickly clicked a few shots and than we both pulled back and checked out the photos she took.

"Found it! I dropped an earring, sorry about that." Zara said and she finally stepped of the car and locked the doors and than we started maneuvering our way in through the busy streets.

I was too awed by the many wonders around me that I nearly forgot about my cravings for dumplings and sushi till we finally came upon the Chinese restaurant that we were gonna have our dinner at. Leah handled our dinner reservations with the front desk receptionist till a young Asian waiter gestured for us to follow him to our table.

We entered a huge dining area occupied by many customer's, again mostly Asians, sitting around the round table having their meal. The waiter showed us our table and we quickly sat around the table while looking around. The whole area seems kinda reserved, with many Chinese sayings and portraits hanging from wall to wall. Orchid's filled in vases lined in every corner and I also noticed that the tables has a pretty design all over the top.

"Guys, let's take another picture." I pulled out my phone and held it up above my head while Leah and Zara ushered in so we can all be in the picture.

I clicked a few shots and than quickly uploaded them on instagram while we wait for that waiter to bring our menu's. When he finally did, I browsed through the menu and ordered dumplings and sushi immediately. He went to get our order while we waited patiently again.

"So, we're just gonna be here for two days right?" Leah asked and I nodded.

"Yep."

"And what are we gonna do during those two days?" I put on my best thinking face.

"Tomorrow straight after breakfast, we're gonna go for a drive and explore around Lombard street. And than, we're also gonna go for a ride around Golden gate bridge but I'm thinking we should do that one around late at night you know? With our favourite playlist blasting in the car, us screaming out loud in the night and living in the moment kind of thing."

"Cool. I'm down if you both are." Leah agreed.

"Totally. I'm so glad that we left you to come up with all the fun things we should do. You always know the fun stuff tori." Zara also added, making me smile in relief that they liked my ideas.

"Thanks guys, and I'm telling you we're gonna have so much fun during this two days before we move on to our next destination."

The waiter finally arrives with our meals and when the delicious aroma of our food drifted through my nose, my mouth was already watering. We quickly thanked the waiter and than we started grabbing the forks and chopsticks, ready to dig in.

"Wait!" I froze before I could lift the sushi up to my mouth. I narrowed my eyes at Leah.

"What now?!" She poured our glasses with the red wine that was also served and than she shot me a look.

"I know that you're starving but can we at least make a toast? It's our first night away from home, in a new city, having the time of our lives with this incredible seafood in front of us right now. So let's just relive the moment okay?"

I quickly placed the chopsticks down and grabbed one of the wine glasses.

"Alright, let's do it. Cheers to the best summer vacation we're having right now and cheers to our eight years of friendship that we're able to make it this far."
Zara clicked her glass with ours right after what I just said.

"Cheers bitches!" We all chuckled and than drank at the same time and quickly wincing when the sour liquid finally adjusted in our mouths.

And than we finally ate, enjoying the ringing of laughter and the happy vibe lingering in the room along with the other customers.
