"I think that's the last box." Leah said while counting the amount of unpacked boxes filling our living room.
Coming back here, feels totally different. We moved in yesterday to our new apartment which I might happily say, that I'm glad that dad had chosen this place for us because honestly, it's bigger and cozy for just the three of us. We just received the last of our stuffs today so now we're just unpacking everything and settling in. When I said bigger, I actually meant a four bedroom apartment with two separate bathrooms and even a bigger marble kitchen area and plus, a huge balcony that overlooks the busy street down below.
We all had chosen our rooms and have already did everything that suits our taste to our bedrooms since yesterday as soon as we've arrived, so now we're focusing on making our living room and kitchen area to give out a more warm and home kinda feeling. Our classes starts tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous about going cos it's college and everything is kinda new along with the new environment and all, so this is like a big thing that I want to make a good expression of.
We continued to unpack everything and started to place them into places that they would look good at. Leah started doing the curtains while Zara worked on styling the living room while I put away our kitchen utensils in the kitchen and also loading up our refrigerator.
"Hey tori?" Zara hollered from the living room.
"Yeah?" I yelled back.
"Leah and I are gonna go get us some ice cream from that ice cream shop across the street and we'll be back in a minute okay?! Cookie dough for you right?!"
"Yeah, sure!" I heard them leave the living room area and heard the door being closed.
I finished with the last box of the kitchen equipments and than moved on the living room to finish with Zara's. By the time they got back, I was almost done with the whole packing but then we took a short break and had our ice cream and then continued again till we're officially done around six in the evening. We ordered Chinese for dinner and that night we went to bed early so we can wake up feeling refreshed the next day to start our first day of freshmen year in college.

I decided to wear a pair of white jeans, white long sleeve turtleneck and since it's kinda chilly here in Los Angeles, I put on a light pink cute jacket before slipping on my nude high heeled boots. I curled my hair and did my makeup and then packed my books and everything in my school bag before I walked out of my room. Leah was already waiting on the couch typing on her phone and Zara walked out of her room just in time and smiled at me.
"Let's go?" She asked while putting on her gold watch around her wrist.
"Yeah, let's go." We left our apartment and took the elevator down to the underground parking lot to get to our car.
Dad decided that we should at least have two cars with us, one for school and one for emergencies that if one of us was left behind or had classes late in the day, then she'll take the other car. This was all my dad's idea, he likes to prepare things in advance and turns out, he will always be right with everything which is why I love him and missed him already. Note to self, call mom and dad after my classes.
