Trying to get some sleep last night was harder than I thought, especially when you have a lot on your mind lately and you just don't know how to switch off your brain for sometime so you can close your eyes and get sucked into a dreamless sleep. I keep tossing and turning and then I grabbed my phone and even stalked Jimmy's instagram account which I unfollowed a long time ago. Just seeing his face, smiling so brightly at the camera made my heart ache. I switched off my phone and lie on my side, staring at the curtains that was calmly swaying with the night breeze coming from the half opened balcony door.
That night, was the first night in a long time that I cried myself to sleep. When I woke up, the sun was shining brightly inside the room and i checked the time on my phone and saw that it was already past eleven am. I quickly did my morning routine and made my bed before texting the girls in our group chat to see if there's anything we would like to do today. Despite whatever happened last night, I still felt like it's best to just forget about it and move on.
