Rigel

Rigel wakes up and notices that he is laying on the ground. He looks and sees that his clothes are completely clean. He turns and looks to his side and notices Makoto sleeping sitting up with her knees tucked to her chest as if she had been keeping watch over him. He sat up, he was a little sore but he felt much better than he used to. Makoto woke up as Rigel sat up and a big smile went across her face. Makoto got up and ran toward Rigel and hugged him.

"What are you doing?"

Makoto didn't say anything and just kept hugging Rigel.

"What happened?"

Makoto stopped hugging Rigel and sat in front of him.

"I thought you were going to die. Then this girl came out of the bushes and healed you." Said Makoto

"Where is she now?"

"She vanished." Said Makoto

"People don't just vanish unless she had invisibility powers."

"But she didn't have those powers and she still vanished." Said Makoto

"Are you sure she didn't have invisibility powers."

"I... I don't think she did." Said Makoto

"Well she probably did because people don't just vanish unless they have invisibility powers."

"I guess your right." Said Makoto

Rigel gets up even though he is still very sore.

"Hey you shouldn't get up yet you need to rest more." Said Makoto

"I can't rest I have to find the last 3 leaders of those people."

Makoto gets up as well and kicks Rigel hard in the stomach. Rigel crumbles back to the ground.

"What was that for."

"One I said you need to rest more, two don't ever try dying on my watch again." Said Makoto

"It was the only option I had."

"There is always more than one solution to a problem." Said Makoto

Rigel decided to change the subject.

"How are my clothes clean they were covered in blood?"

"When the girl came and healed you her technique cleaned away the blood on your body but, not the blood on your clothes." Said Makoto

"Then how are my clothes clean?"

Makoto blushes

"Well I... umm washed them for you. Said Makoto

"How did you wash them?"

"There's a river to the north of here." Said Makoto

"Oh ok."

Rigel falls back asleep and has a good dream about his family being alive. Rigel wakes up in the middle of the night. He looks over and sees Makoto asleep next to him. He sneakily gets up to make sure Makoto doesn't hear him. When he gets up he grabs his bow and his arrows and goes a good distance away from Makoto so she doesn't hear him shooting his bow. Rigel pulls out his bow and loads an arrow and starts to shot a a nearby tree and he hits it.

"My shot is still good." He said to himself

Rigel loads another arrow

"Enhanced arrow: lightning form"

Rigel shots an arrow but this time it does nothing. He tries again but it didn't do anything. He decided to try a different style.

"Enhanced arrow: poison form"

Rigel launches an arrow to a tree and it begins to decay.

"Why can't I do the lightning arrow but I can go my others?" He said to himself

Rigel stands there for a few minutes

"Looks like I'm gonna have to train in order to do it more. " he thought to himself

Rigel spends the rest of the night training in order to learn the enhanced lighting arrow. By the time it was morning he managed to master it.

"Enhanced arrow: lightning form"

Rigel released his and hit a tree cause lightning to spark through the tree. Rigel noticed it was morning and went back to where Makoto was in hopes to get there before Makoto got up. When he got their Makoto was already up and cooking breakfast. Makoto heard Rigel coming back.

"Look what we have here. I thought I told you to rest." Said Makoto

"I was just out walking."

"I'm sure you were." Said Makoto

Makoto walks up to Rigel and punches him in the stomach causing him to bend over clenching his stomach.

"What was that for?"

"You know what that was for now don't disobey me again." Said Makoto

Makoto went back to making breakfast and it was ready shortly after. Rigel and Makoto sat by the fire and ate the bird that Makoto has hunted.

"You've gotten good at hunting since the last time when you chickened out."

"I've been practicing." Said Makoto

"That's good."

"I've also got a chicken for lunch and a nice big boar for dinner. We have a big day tomorrow." Said Makoto

"What do you mean?"

"I know the location of of their hide out." Said Makoto

"Wh... what? How did you find it?"

"Well, you were passed out for several days and I tracked down some of the weaker members to this this cave. When I peaked around the corner I saw a massive steel door." Said Makoto

"That's incredible, so now we know where where they are."

"For right now lets take the rest of the day to rest. Do you understand?" Said Makoto

Rigel nods and Makoto playfully hits his arm. For the rest of the day they took it easy in order to conserve energy for their battle ahead. Makoto went and bathed in the river and when she was done Rigel bathed and they met up for dinner. Makoto cooked up the wild boar she caught and mixed in a few herbs she found in the forest. When she was done cooking the boar they dug into the boar. They didn't leave an ounce of meat on the boar by the time they were done.

"Where did you learn to cook? Your cooking skills are amazing."

Makoto blush's

"Oh, thanks. I taught myself how to cook because I cooked the meals for my mom and sister before they were..." said Makoto

Makoto stops talking and Rigel sees tears filling her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a sensitive topic."

"No, it's ok I'll tell you what happened." Said Makoto

Makoto tells Rigel about her life and the things that happened to her family.

"That's terrible. I'm sorry that happened."

"It's ok." Said Makoto as more tears began filling her eyes

Rigel gets up and walks over to Makoto and hugs her. This causes Makoto to break into a full blown cry. She does this for a while and when she was done she punched Rigel again.

"I don't need your compassion." Said Makoto

Makoto didn't truly mean that but she was actually happy that Rigel decided to comfort her. Rigel puts out the fire and they both lay on the ground and go to sleep to prepare for the day ahead.
