The Mystic Seven

Makoto

Makoto slowly wakes up and finds herself in a house she has never seen before.

"Wh... where am I"

"You are in my home" said a stranger

"How did I get here"

"After you killed the king the remaining people that were turned to gold slowly began to return to normal" said the stranger

"That's good"

Makoto looks down at her bandages legs and sides

"Who fixed me"

"That would be me, I am the best doctor this kingdom has to offer and I brought you back from the brink of death" said he doctor

"Thank you very much"

"No no we should be the ones thanking you"

"We"

"Take a look outside"

Makoto gets off the bed and walks to the door and proceeds to open the door

"Wooooooooo" came the yell of the crowd

"Thank you for saving us" said a stranger

"Your so cute" said another stranger

"We owe you our life" the crowd yelled

"What are you guys going to do now"

"Well we need a new king, one much better than the one we had" said the doctor

"Who will that be"

"We want you to be the king, I mean Queen" said the doctor

"I... I can't be your queen"

"Awwwww" said the crowd sadly

"Why are you unable to be our Queen" asked the doctor

"Because there are many more kings out there that need to die"

"I... I understand" said the doctor

"I must get going now"

"Can you wait at least one more day so your body gets a little more rest" said the doctor

"Another day won't hurt"

"Yaaaaaaaay" screamed the crowd

"Let's have a party" said a stranger in the crowd

"Yeaaaaaaaaah" screamed the crowd

The people of the kingdom and Makoto party all day celebrating Makotos victory against the king. When it became dark they all went to bed to get rest for the big day ahead. Makoto wakes up early and prepares for for her long journey ahead.

"Leaving already" said the doctor

"Yes I must continue on my journey"

"What exactly is your journey" said the doctor

"I... haven't thought about it yet but what I do know is that I will put and end to all the kings that were put into place and find the person that put them in charge"

"Seems quite dangerous" said the doctor

"Probably will be, but what are you guys going to do about the broken houses in the kingdom"

"We will spend the next couple of days fixing them up and we will figure out who the new king will be" said the doctor

"Seems like a good plan"

"Indeed it is" said the doctor

"I just get going now"

"I understand, I must advise you that it would be wise to find some companions to help you with your journey" said the doctor

"Yes I probably should so that will be on my to do list"

"Be safe on your journey"

"I will, and tell all the people of the kingdom that I said thank you for the party"

"I can do that"

Makoto walks out of the doctors home and begins to leave the kingdom. Where is she going? Even she doesn't know where she is headed yet so when she arrives it will be a mystery. After a couple hours of walking through the forest Makoto stops to make camp and she creates a fire. The next day Makoto continues her journey through the forest.

"How much longer till I find another kingdom" she thought to herself

Out of the corner of Makotos eyes she notices multiple trees that have arrows stuck in them

"Hmmmm there must be people around" thought Makoto

She looks around but she doesn't see any sign of a person around so she continues through the forest. As she walks around she continues to find trees that have arrows planted into them but some trees seem to have been burned or struck by lightning which Makoto thought was strange. There was a rustle in a bush beside Makoto so she pulls out her spear and gets close to the bush.

"Whose there" she asked

There was no response so Makoto gets closer to the bush and a bunny pops out of the bush. When the bunny popes out of the bush Makoto began to relax and put away her spear.

"Sorry little bunny I didn't mean to bother you" she said

The bunny then hops away not giving a care in the world that it almost lost its life. Makoto continues her adventure through the woods believing that she is close to another kingdom. Next thing she knows is that there is a small dagger pressed against her neck.

"Who are you"

There was silence

"Who are you"

"Why are you here" said the stranger completely ignoring the question Makoto asked

"I'm looking for a kingdom"

"Why, who sent you to this location" asked the stranger

"No one sent me I came here on my own"

Makoto feels the dagger that was against her neck begin to loosen and she takes that moment to pull out her spear to confront the stranger but when she turns around no one was there.

"Where are you"

There was no answer

"Was I imagining it" she thought to herself

The next thing she knew she felt a kick in the stomach and she was on her back. Then she felt a knee being planted against her chest keeping her from moving and then the dagger was planted against her neck again but she didn't see anybody around. She know there was a dagger against her neck but she just couldn't see a person pressing it against her neck. She tried to move but every time she tried to wiggle her way out the dagger was planted harder into her neck this time drawing a small amount of blood.

"I thought you said no one sent you" said the stranger

"Because no one sent me"

"Then why did you try to attack me" asked the stranger

"Because you attacked me"

"I guess that a good reason" said the stranger

The stranger removes his dagger from Makotos throat and when Makoto gets up she puts away her weapon and then the stranger seems to appear out of thin air. No faster than he appeared he tells her to get down and pushes her into the bush and covers her mouth with his hand.
