"How is the evacuation going? Are the people safe?" Said Conner.
"Yes most people made it to the safety centers, however their were some that did not make it." Said a guard.
"What about the enemies?" Said Conner.
"Makoto and her friends are currently engaging with the enemies as we speak." Said a guard.
"Damn, I hate that their having to protect my kingdom but, I guess it gives us a chance to have their fighting abilities to develop a better strategy for fighting William." Said Conner.
"What can we do to help?" Said Saffron.
"You guys should stay here where it's safe." Said Conner.
"But we wanna help!" Said Saffron.
"Y... yeah!" Said Maria.
"If you think your capable of helping then then please be careful." Said Conner.
"Ok, we will." Said Saffron.
"Wait before you go take these." Said Blake.
Blake hands Saffron and Maria each a necklace that contained half a heart.
"What is this?" Said Saffron.
"Put it on, and in an emergency connect your guises pieces of bear together." Said Blake.
"Shouldn't we do it now?" Said Saffron.
"No, only in a life or death situation." Said Blake.
"W... Why?" Said Maria.
"Well when you connect the pieces together it will fuse your mind, body, and soul forming one being that of which cannot be returned to it's original forms." Said Blake.
"This is something we've been working on figuring out for a long time, why did you keep this from us?" Said Saffron.
"Because you can never go back to being two people, and I didn't want to subject anyone to the same fate as me so I've kept it a secret for a long time leading you guys away from the discovery." Said Blake.
Blake pulls his collar on his lab coat down revealing a heart necklace that has both pieces fused together.
"You're two people as one." Said Saffron.
"Yes, and it's been like this for a long time, so please only use it in emergencies or if you really think you want to live like this." Said Blake.
Saffron and Maria both put on their pieces of necklace.
"We understand, we'll only do it in the case of an emergency." Said Saffron.
Saffron and Maria both grab their weapons.
"Please be safe." Said Conner and Blake.
"We will." Said Saffron.
"Y... yeah." Said Maria.
Saffron and Maria both begin to leave the building in order to help Makoto and the others.
(Meanwhile back to Rigel.)
"Enhanced arrow: poison form." Said Rigel.
Rigel launches a poison arrow at Glitches body but, Glitches body flickers causing the arrow to miss.
"When are you gonna learn that your arrows have no affect on me?" Said Glitch.
"I've gotta find something that works." Said Rigel.
"Good luck with that, I don't even know what can kill me." Said Glitch.
Glitch starts laughing. Glitch then remembers that Maria and Saffron could possibly kill him but, he decided to keep that to himself.
