The Mystic Seven

Makoto wakes up when she hears the alarm clock going off. At first she was still sleepy but, she knew she had to get up and get moving in order to make it to the arena on time. She looks at the clock and it says 6 am. She gets out of bed and gets dressed and waits out in the hallway for the others. Once the rest came out of their rooms they all head to the cafeteria to get a quick bite before the have to go to the arena.

"Today's the day."

"Yeah, something about today is giving me a bad feeling though." Said Purity.

"Your probably just nervous." Said Rigel.

"Maybe your right." Said Purity.

They all finish their food and head to the arena where they sit and talk while they wait for the battle to begin. After a few minutes the speaker arrives over the arena.

"Good morning everyone and welcome to the last day of the tournament. Today the arena will be quite different than usual." Said the speaker.

When he said the he snapped his fingers and the entire colosseum began to shake. The colosseum began moving and changing shape causing the arena at the center to become much bigger than it was usually.

"There we go, as you can see the arena is much bigger now than it was before because this last phase will consist of all the remaining participants participating in a free for all." Said the speaker.

Many cheers came from the crowd. The speaker snapped his fingers again. The arena began to form multiple different sections devoted to different settings such as a jungle, desert, forest, etc. the outer part of the arena was a massive hole with a river at the bottom.

"If you are knocked off of the arena into the river on the outer edge you will be eliminated so the last person standing wins." Said the speaker.

Just then one of the workers jumped on the platform with the speaker and whispered something in his ear.

"We have a major problem." Said the worker.

"What's the problem?" Said the speaker.

"Their is a person in a black cloak standing out in the front of the colosseum standing their." Said the worker.

"What's wrong with a person standing?" Said the speaker.

"We've sent workers out to see if he's ok but, he's killed everyone we sent out. We noticed the he has a scarlet serpent tattoo on the palm of his right hand. So we have a reason to believe the he is a part of the scarlet serpents." Said the worker.

"If he is a part of the scarlet serpents that could be a very big problem. I'll investigate let me get the participants in the arena first and start the battle and I'll be right over." Said the speaker.

"Understood." Said the worker.

The worker hops off and the speaker stops whispering and goes back to what he was saying to the participants.

"I wonder what that was about?" Said Lucy.

"I don't know but, I'm ready to watch this battle." Said Patience.

"I will now announce the names of the participants upon hearing your name called enter the arena and stand on the glowing circle in the center of the arena." Said the speaker.

The speaker began saying the names of all 50 of the remaining participants and they all went down to the glowing circle at the center of the arena.

"The circle will send you all to different spots in the arena when I snap my fingers. when that happens you may begin the battle. I won't be here during your battle because I have important business to take care of. Aside from that I hope you guys have a great battle and may the best fighter remain standing." Said the speaker.
