Talent Show

"Hey Makoto wake up!" Said Purity.

Makoto slowly wakes up and looks around.

"What happened?" Said Makoto.

"We were attacked by someone last night and they took the artifact Conner was showing us." Said Purity.

"We couldn't use our powers and were taken out almost instantly." Said Lucy.

"What was that thing he summoned?" Said Rufus.

"Who knows but, we have to be careful in the case that he ever returns. I fear something terrible will happen." Said Conner.

"Yeah, that just means that we have to get stronger." Said Makoto.

"Yeah, for now you guys can head up to the surface. I'm going to improve the defense system of the kingdom." Said Conner.

"Ok, we'll figure out something to do while your improving the security system." Said Makoto.

"If I were to add a suggestion, the I'm hosting our kingdoms annual talent show tomorrow so you could probably practice for that if it's something you might be inter in." Said Conner.

"That sounds great, let's do it everyone!" Said Makoto.

"Sounds good to me." Said Rigel.

Everyone else also agreed.

They all head up to the surface.

"So, what should we do?" Said Makoto.

"We could put a leash on Lucy, Patience, and Rufus to show what good pets they are." Said Purity.

"No!" Said Lucy, Patience, and Rufus in unison.

"Just because you like having a leash on you doesn't mean we do as well brat." Said Patience.

Purity blushes.

"I've never worn a collar before fur ball." Said Purity.

"What if we all show case outlets abilities by doing something unique for each person." Said Rigel.

"That sounds like a good idea." Said Makoto.

Everyone else agreed and that is what they decided on doing.

"Everyone go prepare something and we'll all show case what we've prepared tomorrow morning and then we'll organize who goes in what order for the talent show." Said Makoto.

Everyone agreed and went their separate ways to practice for the talent show.

"What should I do?" Thought Makoto to herself.

Makoto walked around the kingdom to think about what she was going to do. After an hour she came up with an idea.

"I'll put on a fire show to amuse the audience with a few extra things as well." Said Makoto to herself.

Makoto goes to practice her presentation for the talent show the next day.

Meanwhile over to Midnight.

"What should I present at the talent show. I have a vast amount of power but, what would be the most appealing." Thought Midnight.

Just then Midnights crimson serpent tattoo started to glow. Midnight looked around to see if anyone was around and he disappeared into a shadow. However Purity noticed and she felt confused and heart broken but instead of telling anyone else she followed Midnight. She used her senses to track his location and teleported to his location and quickly manipulated the light around her body to make herself invisible and she watched and listened to Midnight.
