Makoto currently stands off against one of the 5 kazi.

Makoto watched as Lucy was hit out of the air by a bull person (Joseph) while she was trying to go after Rigel. Makoto also wanted to go after Rigel but, she also wanted to help Lucy however, she had her own opponent she had to deal with. Makoto looked at her opponent and could tell the her opponent also used a spear however she didn't know what kind.

"That's a pretty nice spear you have. What type of spear is it?"

"The spear I use is called a ranseur." Said the lizard person.

"Your spear is very cool I hope you'll be a very powerful opponent."

"I hope you will also be a powerful opponent to test my spear against." Said the lizard person.

"So why don't you go ahead and tell me your name."

"My name is Ezra." Said Ezra.

"That name suits a strong girl like you."

"Thank you but, your complements won't change what I must do." Said Ezra.

"What is it that you must do?"

"I'm sure you already know what I must do. I am now required to kill you for releasing the slaves of the kingdom." Said Ezra.

"We only did what we thought was the right thing to do and now I must beat you so I can start helping Rigel with his bird problem."

"You shouldn't worry about him, since we know he's the one who started the plot to save the slaves he will have a lovely visit with the queen." Said Ezra.

"By the way you said it, I don't think it's going to be a very pleasant visit with the Queen."

"Your right, chances are he will be killed for his actions by the Queen herself while we end your lives ourselves." Said Ezra.

Makoto began to get a little angry and worried because she didn't want Rigel to die. She knew that the only way for her to make her way over to Rigel was to beat her opponent Ezra. Makoto took out her spear and her shield and faces Ezra. In the distance she could hear explosions from the direction Rufus and Patience were in and when she looked towards Lucy she saw that she was holding her own against the bull person.

"Let's start our fight."

Ezra and Makoto charge at each other and their spears collide with each other. Makoto sweeps her spear at Ezras legs but, Ezra jumps over her attack strikes down towards Makotos head when she comes back down but, Makoto blocks Ezras attack with her shield.

"You truly are a strong opponent." Said Ezra.

"Thanks I kind of just taught myself how to use my weapons."

"So you had no teacher." Said Ezra.

"I did but, he only taught me how to control my powers better not how to use my weapons."

"You trained yourself well." Said Ezra.

Ezra charged at Makoto getting ready to pierce his chest but, Makoto blocks the attack with her shield and does a counter attack. Makoto gets ready to stab at Ezra's stomach but Ezras tail blocked Makotos attack causing it to get cut off.

"Oop, it looks like you cut off my tail." Said Ezra.

"Do you not care that I cut off your tail?"

"Nope not really, it will come back." Said Ezra.

Right as she said that Ezra began to grow another tail to replace the one Makoto had just cut off.

"That's kind of gross."
