The Mystic Seven

Makoto

After a little bit of resting Makoto sees Rigel crying while he tries to hide it.

"Hey Rigel what's wrong there's no need to cry."

"I... I thought I could trust him, he was so kind to me and the rest of my family but, I guess that was all just an act." Said Rigel.

"Don't worry everything will be ok. We both lost our families. All we have right now is each other so we are a small family and when we add more people to our team we can be an even bigger family."

"I guess your right." Said Rigel.

"Speaking of being a team will you finally join my team.?"

"I don't feel that you are still heel bent on revenge so I'll join your team but, if you betray my trust you won't see me again." Said Rigel.

"Don't worry I wouldn't go behind your back."

Makoto said this knowing that she still wanted revenge for everything that happened but, she was determined to hide it from Rigel.

"That's good, I trust you with my life." Said Rigel.

"I trust you with my life as well."

"Over here, they are the ones who killed the king." Said a guard coming around the corner into the room they were at.

"We better go before we are surrounded." Said Rigel.

"Yeah, let's go through this window so we won't have to fight our way through all the guards."

"Sounds like a plan." Said Rigel.

Makoto busts through the window and Rigel jumps out shortly after. They both land on their feet unharmed from their 30 feet jump.

"I think we should leave the kingdom immediately." Said Rigel.

"What? Why?"

"There are guards everywhere looking for us so it won't be safe for us to stay in this kingdom any longer." Said Rigel.

"But we killed the king so wouldn't they be happy they are free."

"If they knew he was a terrible king they would be happy we killed him but, he did terrible things in secrecy and only showed a good side to his people making them believe that he was a good person." Said Rigel.

"I guess that's understandable. Let's get a move on then teammate."

Makoto grabs Rigels arm and starts running dragging Rigel behind her as she avoids guards who run after her. After a few hours of running they make it out of the kingdom.

"Can you stop dragging me now. I gave my own two feet I can stand on." Said Rigel.

"Oh, right. Sorry."

"It's fine, I'm just a little dusty." Said Rigel.

"Should we start looking for a place to make camp while we search for another kingdom to see if the ruler of that kingdom is bad."

"Setting up camp wouldn't be a bad idea considering it's getting a little late." Said Rigel.

"Yay, now let's look for a good place to set up camp."

Makoto and Rigel walk into an open field a few miles from the kingdom and decided to set up camp their.

"This looks like a nice place to set up camp for the night."

"This will do just fine, we just need to hunt some animals in order to get some food." Said Rigel.

"I already have that covered."
