The Mystic Seven

Makoto

Makoto wanted to help Rigel but she couldn't find a chance to get over to him. Makoto knew the only way for her to to make it to Rigel was to beat scarlet.

"Don't worry dear I'll kill you slowly." said Scarlet

"I don't think so"

Scarlet strikes at Makoto and Makoto tries to cut the vine but she can only leave a small scratch in the vine.

"Damn, why can't I cut the vines now."

"If you look around you can still see that their is plenty of water across the ground. With that water I am still able to get strengthen my power." said Scarlet

Scarlets Vines begin to grow larger and the thorns begin to get sharper. Scarlet strikes at Makoto who manages to block one vine but, the other vine hits her in her side.

"Ahhhh"

Makoto has a cut on her side and she is losing blood.

"I need to think of a way to beat her." she thought to herself

Makoto tried to think of a plan but, she couldn't because scarlet was throwing attack after attack at her. Makoto enchanted her flame powers into her spear again and she enchanted her rock powers into her shield again. Makoto was going to attack with everything she had. Makoto charged at Scarlet who continued to unleash relentless attacks. Makoto managed to dodge some but others she blocked with her shield. Makoto was right in front of Scarlet and was prepared to unleash her attack.

"Piercing flame"

Makotos spear hits Scarlet in the chest but it only left a small scratch. Scarlet smiled and struck again. This time catching Makoto off guard and was sent flying back hitting a tree.

"I need to end this or Rigel will die." She thought to herself

Scarlet summoned two more turret plants which shot thorns at Makoto much faster than the previously did.

"Earthen Wall"

A wall of rocks is formed in front of her but, some thorns managed to hit her in her arm and went through to the other side.

"This is a lot harder than last time. If it weren't for Ron you'd already be dead."

"Well the good things is his power greatly strengthened mine. He may be dead but, that is no problem because he was the weakest of us." Said Scarlet

Makoto thought about how Scarlet had used Ron and it filled her with anger. Makoto tried to stay calm but, she couldn't manage to stay calm. She thought about what Rigel said about vengeance but, she thought that if he didn't know it wouldn't hurt anything. All that Makoto was thinking was revenge in order to take the lives of those who do terrible things.

"Earthquake"

Makoto hits her shield against the ground and the ground begins to shake. This threw Scarlet off balance because she was having a hard time standing but, it didn't seem to affect Makoto. Makoto charged at Scarlet once again this time determined to cut through Scarlets body. Scarlet sees Makoto running towards her and so do the plants. The plants turn towards Makoto but are quickly taken down as trees fall on top of them. Scarlet strikes at Makoto but, missed because she lost her balance from the earthquake. Scarlet quickly gets up to attack again but, Makoto was already there getting ready to strike.

"Flame Lash"

Makoto does 7 consecutive strikes the first six managing to make little cuts in Scarlets body. The last strike Makoto put all of her hate into it and aimed for the neck. It didn't cut all the way through but, Makoto wasn't going to give up until the job was done. She put all of her strength into the final push and Makoto barely managed to cut off Scarlets head. The head dropped to the ground with a thunk and the body fell shortly after and the earthquake stopped. Makoto was relieved at first but she quickly remembered that Rigel was dying. She ran over to Rigel and turned him on his back.

"Hey Rigel, wake up we've won for now."

Rigel did not make a noise so Makoto tried again

"Rigel, wake up please."

There was still no response. Makoto felt for Rigels heart beat and heard a slight beat.

Makoto continues to try to wake Rigel up

"Rigel please wake up."

Makoto wipes the blood off of Rigels face but, blood still covered most of his body.

"Come on Rigel, wake up already."

Makoto starts to shake Rigel.

"Wake up you idiot, this isn't funny"

Makoto checks for Rigel's heart beat again but, this time he has no heart beat. Makoto starts to perform cpr. Makoto does this for a couple of minutes but, there was still no heart beat.

"Rigel please don't go. I can't lose somebody else, I've already lost to much."

There was no response. Makoto breaks out in tears and starts crying as she is still trying to get Rigel to have a heart beat. Makoto hears a russle in the bush beside her. She quickly gets up as tears are still running down her face and she draws her spear.

"Who's there."

A girl walks out of the bushes. She wore a white dress that went half to her knees, she had amber eyes, blood hair that went a little past her shoulders, and she had a staff.

"My, my, what do we have here." said the girl

"Go away."

Makoto has her spear pointed towards the girl. The girl was looking at Rigel's body and Makoto noticed.

"Don't get any closer."

The girl walks towards Rigels body.

"Leave him alone he's dead."

Makoto strikes at the girl. The girl noticed and quickly disarmed Makoto before she could blink. The girl began to move towards Rigel's body again.

"He's not dead yet." said the girl

"Yes he is he has no heart beat."

"He does have a heart beat but, it's very small. However I wouldn't expect a simple mortal like you to understand." Said the girl

"What do you mean?"

"Doesn't matter." Said the girl

"Who are you."

"Let's just say I'm a simple wanderer." Said the girl

The girl pulled out her staff

"Drop of life"

A drop of a white liquid came out of the girls staff and landed on Rigel which began to heal his wounds and clear up some of the blood.

"He'll be out for a while." said the girl

Makoto rushes to Rigel's side and hugged him while he was unconscious.

"Th..."

Makoto turned to thank the girl but she was no longer there.
