For the next couple of days, the members of TXT had an extremely busy schedule and barely any sleep. And when they did find a couple of hours to doze off, it was in between group activities, so Soobin couldn't find the time to talk to Yeonjun at all.

He thought about messaging, but the elder was clearly avoiding him, not interacting with him unless the cameras were on, and being pushy would do nothing but distract both of them.

So he waited.

He stared at the elder from afar, trying to figure out his real mood behind the acting and the idol smiles.

He beared with Yeonjun cheerfully chatting with and touching him in front the cameras, and he beared with his silence or monosyllabic answers when the recording was over.

The times when the elder turned his head and accidentally made eye contact with Soobin, he quickly averted his gaze.

The younger realized that this had happened countless times before, but the one to give the cold shoulder had always been Soobin.

Relationships in the industry where more business than friendship, so idols being angry at each other was not uncommon at all and it didn't surprise the rest of the staff at all. But it was the first time that flirty, gentle, attentive, ever-caring Yeonjun used the silent treatment on Soobin in particular.

And it hurt as fuck.

And it also meant that no matter how many times Soobin had done dumb stuff or decided to ignore the elder instead of properly communicating to try and solve their problems, up until now Yeonjun had always really cared and been forgiving about everything.

And that made it even more painful.

And it made him feel even more stupid and realize how childish and insecure he himself was.

After five days of intense training, shooting and giving interviews, their schedules returned to normal, and the first night Soobin tried to stay up late waiting for Yeonjun in the living room, but fell asleep on the couch instead.

The following day, he waited by the coffee table near the kitchen as he used to do, but Yeonjun didn't show up.

The night after that one, he was dozing off at the same spot when he heard familiar steps approaching from the living room. His heart skipped a beat when Yeonjun showed up.

The elder was wearing a white tank top and blue short pants. He had a towel over his shoulder and his hair was still wet, clearly just having exited the showers.

He looked up at down at Soobin, and then sighed and rubbed his neck.

"I knew you'd be here...", he trailed off, and let out another sigh. He walked past the younger, who stood up with parted lips, now unsure of how to start the speech he'd been preparing for days. "Where you waiting for me?", Yeonjun resumed, opened the fridge to grab a drink and then leaned against it, arms crossed, a smirk on his face, water droplets running down his neck, shoulders and clavicles.

Soobin gulped and clenched his fists, this time determined to fix things.

"Yes", the younger answered in a serious tone, and Yeonjun's eyes widened. He clearly was not expecting such a response.

Still tightening his grip, the younger took a step forward.

"Hyung, I'm sorry." They held each other's stare for some time, and then Soobin continued: "I didn't mean any of what I said. I was scared... and frustrated... and...", he started getting nervous and forgetting the words he'd prepared, "I really love you, Yeonjun."
